Opinions, opinions.

Joss has only directed 4 movies. Half of those are Marvel movies. One was only released in only 222 theaters worldwide. Hardly a fair comparison.

Inception wasn't even all that good, lol. But I'd still give it to Nolan.

Nolan, he's just on another level to Whedon. He easily lands the top 5 directors in Hollywood.

Although Buffy is oneof my favourite shows of all time, I vote Nolan. Whedon is more remarkable as a writer than a director. Nolan creates beautiful visuals with very distinct styles. On the other hand, Whedon is pretty run of the mill when it come to how his films look.

Nolan has the potential to go down as one of the elite of visual film makers like Kubrick.

Whedon's legacy will be based on his writing.

Joss has been the brains behind a lot of movies and TV shows since the 90s. So I have to give him his respect, but I'm inclined to take Nolan based on the Dark Knight and Interstellar

Joss Whedon only has The Avengers movies. It's not really comparable. Nolan stomps. His movies are different and unique compared to others these days. INB4 Nolan haters.

In my opinion Memento is actually Nolan's best movie.

Nolan is a more complex director, Whedon is a more fun director.

Pretty unfair comparison. Joss does not have the resume Nolan does. It baffles me that people would actually vote for him just because he has one blockbuster and a couple of meh smallers films under his belt.

Both The Dark Knight and Inception solos Whedon's filmography.

After the mediocrity of AoU, Nolan takes it.
