Best/Fave Authors per Genre

I know there have been threads about favourite authors and books (I even just posted on one) but without a category, the choice is just too vast. Now i have to ask who are your fave authors or you think as best per genre? Here are mine.

Comics -Grant Morrison, Frank Miller & Alan Moore
High/Epic Fantasy -JRR Tolkien & Robert Jordan
Sword & Sorcery -Robert E. Howard
SciFi -Frank Herbert
Horror/Macabre -HP Lovecraft & Richard Matheson
Political/Military -Tom Clancy & Dale Brown
Espionage -Robert Ludlum
Religious/Spiritual/Anti-religious -CS Lewis & Philip Pullman
Children's -JK Rowling & Ursula Le Guin

Feel free to add categories of your fave authors as I know I missed a lot with mine (such as non-fiction, poetry, etc.)
