Excalibur is actually a pretty good movie. WTF?
Below, I've answered with my previous response to this rebuke. Remember, I love this movie, but it was awesomely terrible.

Not a bad movie at all and certainly doesn't belong here.
Its "BEST" worst movies; meaning, the ones you love to watch. And, i do apologise, but if you believe this to be a well made movie...your faith in Nigel Terry is a bit far fetched. He is one of the worst actors of the 20th century. I do love that movie, though.
*EDIT*
Also, just because Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart are in it, doesnt mean it was amazing. It was meant to be an epic tale of Arthurian Legend. But, it absolutely fell short. Nicol Williamson (Merlin) and Nigel Terry (Arthur) were the focus of the story, and they were completely ubsurd (part of its charm; I'll admit); and i wont even get into Gabriel Byrne's or Cherie Lunghi's role. Helen Mirren was pretty good though (and gorgeous), if not a bit over-eccentric in her performance. "O' Fortuna" made for a great score, however.
Again, i really enjoy this movie. But, i really enjoy pretty very absolutely painlfully terrible movies.
