Best Rapper who sold a lot of albums?

I don't think Nas has sold 10 mill+ albums.

What about Wu Tang, Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, Dr Dre...The Chronic hit hard and sold like crack in DC. Ghost face killer! The Beastie Boys ! I think you should re post this poll and have artist from the same area and market time frame. I think this would keep all the BS of who's better snoop or jay z off this thread. Snoop better lyrics, Jay Z ...$$$

@hayden86: Total album sales only. I don't want to include groups in this poll. Dr. Dre is a great artist but not really a great rapper compared to the others. If I were to include artist from some of the groups who had their own albums like Redman, Method Man or Ghostface Killer that would make more sense. How many albums did Wu-Tang sell?

Jay-Z without a doubt.

Of those, Tupac by default. I hate him the least.

Andre or Kanye. Also..Andre hasn't sold that many albums outside of Outkast. People tend to forget that's a duo not a solo effort..

I can agree with Nas, not sure about Kanye though. As a musical artist, he surpasses everyone here by a great degree when it comes to being able to adapt and play with different styles of music to create his albums, etc., but solely as a rapper, there's a notable difference between him and guys here like Eminem, Jay-Z, Andre, Biggie, etc. That's not to say he isn't a pretty good damn rapper though.

Kayne and Andre are my favorite here.

On a another subject.... Who is a better lyricist, Iggy or Nikki?

When she's not bullsh%tting, Nicki stomps IMO. Chick's spat some seriously good stuff over the years when she's gotten her game face on(Monster, etc.) I don't really recall anything from Iggy that has ever struck me as advanced lyrically. I know since they're the two biggest female rappers we have now they're gonna get compared, but I don't really find Iggy to be in Nicki's weight class TBH.
