Lets get Tupac and Biggie and the whole East Vs. West coast out of the eay.
Besides that some of my favorites are the Game vs. G-Unit
50 Vs Ja Rule
N.W.A. vs each other
Common vs Ice Cube
Eminem vs Elton John
That's kinda of sided
Most of Eminem beefs are, because he beefs with trashy MC's that are nowhere near his level, yet some people still hails him as the best diss maker of all time.
While Hov disses Nas and Mobb Deep, Em disses old men and pop singers.
@cgoodness said:
Kanye vs not Kanye
XD
NaS vs Jay: Probably the most argued beef in Hip Hop beef. Arguably gave us the greatest diss record in Hip Hop.
Joe Budden (SlaughterHouse) Vs Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) : short lived and barely did any record disses get sent but it was extremely heavy. I can't think of any more recent beef that was as serious as this one was. Or one I was so invested in.
JA Rule Vs 50 Cent: Creating Ja Rule into a verb.
Game & Black Wall Street Vs 50 G-Unit: I hated this beef which is always the best I guess. The beef is still actually going on.
It is so hard for me not to point out how both parties are completely wrong and how it is overlooked that Game is still basically riding the G-Unit brand/beef.
G-Unit Vs Whoever Wanted It: I always loved that Bank$, Buck, Game, and 50 wouldn't hesitate to send shots to competitors. Their loyalty was admirable but then Game... *sigh*
eM Vs Benzino: It was amazing to see Benzino be obsessed with eM. It was pathetically amuzing.
Joe Budden Vs Game/Royce: Because they ended up squashing it.
Pac Vs Big: Because it is sadly an iconic beef and showed the world why beefing is whack. I am aware that "they didn't die over Hip Hop $#!%" and it was gang related but in my eyes Hip Hop did play a part in it.
50 Vs ri(C)k r(O)ss: Exposing Officer Ricky like never before and showed how 50 can still be ruthless plus G-Unit actually made some solid diss records.
KRS-1 Vs *insert name*: I know shame on me but I forgot. Please someone remind me. I know it is looked down upon but I'm just being honest, I forgot. Completely Iconic beef. Maybe the first documented beef in Hip Hop.
Ice Cube Vs NWA: "I started this Gangsta $#!%, and this the motha $!^& thanks I get." This is one example why I consider G-Unit the modern day NWA. Plus I think it was one of the most Iconic Beefs that changed the course of Hip Hop in history.
Death Row Vs NWA: The beginning of the end of an era which later on gave birth to so many other era's in my opinion.
Saigon Vs Joe Budden: Interesting beef. I see many sides to this.
T.I. Vs LUDA: Solid diss tracks were created and the controversy of "STOMP" is just... I can't think of a word, all the ones that come to mind are too strong or too weak.
Bishop Lamont Vs Snoop/Cube: An interesting statement made by Bishop Lamont.
eM vs Mariah/Cannon: Hilarious. I honestly feel like eM punk'd them but he totally ccok blocked himself forever.
Daz Vs Kurupt: Because they squashed it.
Which one am I missing?

Yes When?
None. They all make rap music look stupid. Not that there's not a million other things working against it. Like this entire millennium so far.
@frogdog: Around 05-06. It started with a line from Fif's song "What If", off the Get Rich or Die Tryin (movie) soundtrack. AZ responded with the track "Royal Salute". The beef was short lived tho, as Fif never responded back.
@frogdog: Fif's wasn't really a diss track. It was just a line AZ took offense to.
Hopsin vs Tyler the Creator
Kendrick vs Rappers who suck at their craft but still make money
Tech N9ne vs the music industry
That was a real thing? I thought it was one of those beefs where one guy kept instigating and the other really didn't care.
@hecktate: Thanks for the information. I think Hopsin might have started it though; that guy has real problems. I don't really like them either.
@hecktate: I agree about the issues. Not a fan of his music, but Hopsin's verse was alright at the BET Cypher last year. But I have to say, Earl Sweatshirt is better than both of them. If only he could find a way to not be so damn boring...
I liked Loiter Squad too. Until the second season. They did some sort of contest/joke with pig juice and I stopped watching.
I like Hopsin's diss records. Theyre sort of like Em's old songs, but he's targeting specific MC's instead of the pop music industry and random celebrities like Em was targeting for the most part. Dude's a clever lyricist, he can really come up with some funny stuff to say about people he doesn't like. And I like how he's not really in it for "beefing" purposes, he just says shit about artists he doesn't like. Would be cool if one of those artists actually responded to him, but because he's underground and doesn't really have alot of industry connections, I doubt the artists he's dissing really care enough about him to respond.
I think 50 vs. Ja was the best beef of all time. Ja got MURDERED! But I don't think it was all on 50's part. When Em stepped in, that was truly when it was finished. Ja was the hottest rapper out at the time, and it was interesting to watch his massive downfall creatively and financially. I never thought Ja was a bad rapper, he had cheesy songs but they all did. Apparently the DMX beef was blown out of proportion and that X and Ja were good friends before the whole 50 thing went down. I kinda feel bad for Ja, no one ever gives the dude a chance, and he seems to have more haters then fans.
Luda vs. T.I. got intense. Particularly on the original "Stomp" record. If you've never heard the original version featuring both Luda and Tip, listen to it and you'll see what I mean. Obviously they weren't in the studio at the same time, but that was obvious.
Kanye vs. Sanity - he's obviously losing that battle
@hecktate: Good to know. Maybe I will check it out again some time. Thanks.
@dccomicsrule2011: Yes it was until it turned into Nas vs. Roc-A-Fella because they all felt a certain way when they heard Either,
So yes it went from Nas vs Jay-Z to
Nas vs. Roc-A-Fella (Jay-Z, State Property(Had 7 Members), Dipset (Too Many Members), Memphis Bleek, N.O.R.E, Aaliyah(Was Dame's Girl) etc . .) Then too
Nas vs Roc-A-Fella(All Above), Cormega, Prodigy, HOT 97
To which then the finally stage of this was were the plain field evened out into
Nas, D-Block(Jadakiss, Styles p, Sheek Louch, J-Hood), 50 Cent(When he was unknown), Jaz-O(Jay's teacher & Mentor), Mobb Deep(Switched sides), E-Money Bags & most of Queens vs. Roc-A-Fella, Cormega(Still wasn't cool with Nas but Queens still loved him so) & HOT 97
In which in the end all went into Nas & Jay appearing on stage togther at the I declare war concert in 2005.
In short alot of what could have been one of the best back & forth battles between 2 giants was killed when more people got involved. Not saying it made it worse cause there was some good disses that came from both sides but it made the potential for a one on one Nas vs. Jay worse.
Anywho for me it would be hmm . . . .off the top of my head Joe Budden vs Saigon isn't my fav but those back & forth's were great imo
@shiryu: They've both done diss tracks against each other, but if you read/listen to any interviews with them about the feud all they really have to say is "I don't like that guy or his music." No idea who started it, and personally I'm not a big fan of either of them.
Tyler dissed Hopsin? On what song?
@yung_ancient_one& @frogdog: AZ vs 50 Cent happened when 50 dissed him on the song "What If?"
50 Cent : " What if I started making bullshit like AZ! "
Then AZ struck back on "Royal Salute"
AZ : " So 50 enjoy this run you done this year! "
Then M.O.P whom was signed to G-Unit at that time went back at AZ on "I Whip Your Head Boy (Remix)"
Lil Fame: " N*gga made cause he went AWOL! "
AWOL was a references to AZ's album at the time, After this it died down though. All happened in 2005
@deathgorath444: thanks for the info.
I think the Joe Budden and Saigon one was alright. The back and forth diss tracks were solid but... it wasn't great IMHO.
I think the idea of Saigon being in a 4 man group was interesting. It would have been entertaining for M.A.R.S. to go back and forth with HouseGang.
corMega Vs Nickel
Action bronson Vs Ortiz
Roc marciano Vs Crooked I
and
The Yard Father Vs Jumpoff Beezy
(+)
@yung_ancient_one I'd pay for a Slaughterhouse vs. MARS matchup.
@veshark: A live on stage battle of 4 man group Vs a 4 man group 5 rounds
4 rounds of one on one matches
and
the final round group vs group.
I'd pay to go to that event. The last one can be a random instrumental match where both parties have to freestyle and need to tag out to let the next member spit, plus they'll have a time limit.

Mannn that could be like a pay-per-view cypher or something. It'd be awesome to hear both pre-written verses and freestyles. Kinda wonder how Roc Marciano and Action would do though, since from what I've heard in their music, they're not really battle-rappers like Slaughterhouse is.
@veshark: I'm not too familiar with Roc but I think Bronson can pull it off. He just has to make his verses into disses or maybe he can take the route of just bragging about himself without having to really diss anyone. The more I think about it the more I think he can pull it off.
I think KOTD should set it up and do it in LA, just so I can go XP.
(+)
@veshark: The winner of that match takes on the 4 horsemen (Ras Kass, Canibus, Kurupt, Killa Priest) Now I know after the Notepad incident u probably saying " Canibus LMFAOVVVL" But take that away & he shouldn't be taken lightly.
@deathgorath444: The weird thing is Ras & Crook are homies. However, Canibus had beef with HouseGang but Royce and Canibus used to be cool. I wonder what did Joe do to him. I never really looked into it.
Ugh so many 50 Cent fans, I feel dirty just being in this thread.
What's wrong with 50?

Lmao 50 is cool
Jay-z vs Nas
Jada vs 50
Cannibus vs LL (I'll never forget 2nd round knockout)
T.I. vs Lil Flip
recently: Cass vs Meek
@yung_ancient_one: I think you're thinking of MC Shan
