I say Popeyes. But never even heard of most of these places besides KFC and chic fil a. Some local spot nearby is probably better, but have never found any.

Its hard to pick just one of these but out of the ones listed I have it as Popeyes > Church's = Bojanlges > KFC > The others

Also idk if they have it everywhere and I know this will sound gross but no lie Hardees has some pretty good fried chicken. I think people sleep on it because its Hardees but that sh** is good.

Still I think Popeye's is my favorite, it has a unique taste compared to most fried chicken I have had. Also there is a local fried chicken joint near me in V.A that is really good as well, probably on par with KFC but not as good as Popeye's, Church's or Bojangles.

Chick fil a for my favorite sandwich. Popeyes has some good chicken as well.

Moss's Chicken Breader makes my favorite homemade fried chicken. They only sell it in Virginia and North Carolina though I believe. We usually pick up a bag whenever we travel south to bring home and use.

I don't think I have ever come across one before tbh but that white gravy with the chicken does sound pretty good. If I ever see one I will be sure to try it. Popeye's gets my vote because of their spicy and mild seasoned chicken, I really enjoy that , that along with the Cajun fries and some of their "delta" sauce and an ice cold sweet tea lol love it.

@blade_r: Yeah I'm from New Orleans area so I l got love for Popeyes but maybe its where I live now but Popeyes seems to have dropped in quality by a good bit

Oh nice isn't Louisiana where Popeye's originated? That's pretty awesome. As for the quality dropping that is possible but there is this one that I used to go to regularly because it was really close to where I lived and it was delicious. It was my go-to for chicken and any fast food in general but after I graduated high school moved back to the area I was born and there is no Popeye's around, only KFC :/

Bojangles or bust... seriously though how is Popeyes beating bojangles? I'm assuming because bojangles is much more localized in a specific area (the southeast) that a large majority of the people voting have never been there.

@blade_r: Popeye's is definently Louisiana and boy their red beans are the bomb! Raising Cane's is also Louisiana too….I wish I knew what the secret sauce recipe is. Just having KFC doesn't cut it for me I would have moved quick lol.

Lmao yeah man I barley go to the local KFC , I do sometimes but its just not the same as Popeye's man. The closest Popeye's to me now is probably like 30 or 45 minutes away :/ That Raising Cane's place sounds awesome though, just the name sounds cool, unfortunately I have never seen one :/ Oh yeah the beans and rice are really good! I almost forgot about them. I also enjoyed the shrimp a lot , I don't remember what they called it but it was some shrimp in a box with a biscuit and Cajun fries...so damn good. Lol man ima have to make a special trip to Popeye's one day soon, its been way too long.

@blade_r: Dude also on the topic of Louisiana if you ever make a trip to New orleans Jefferson Parish area you should stop at Brothers Gas station. Their all over the place area and their chicken is real popular around there…with all the real good places to eat alot of locals love their fried chicken, chicken tenders, fries they even make Po-Boys. You won't be disappointed and make sure to get it with their BBQ sauce.

Damn it must be good then, ill be sure to check it out when I go. And I will definitely get it with BBQ sauce, BBQ is my go-to sauce for just about everything lol I'm sure I will go sometime soon, probably this May. I actually have distant relatives in New Orleans my parents went there to visit earlier this year. They usually come here to V.A to visit but I think next year ill go down there, ive always wanted to go whenever my family goes to visit but ive already had plans made almost every time :/
