Beauty Is Only Skin Deep

If your appearance was determined by your thoughts and feelings what would your metamorphisis be like. What features would you develop. For example: When I'm angry I get eyes which change back and forth from reptilian to black empty eyes.

My eyes change a bit with emotion, especially strong emotion, due to the chemical shifts in my own body and blood respectively ending up showing in my eyes. Like during strong emotion the whites fill with blood and turn red, appearing to backdrop my already abnormally colored eyes and off standing the whites even more so to the other persons view. More or less I'm quantifying the " if " actually " is " for everyone, using one normal example. Otherwise in a shape shifting fantasy aspect, I'm inspired from the media I've read and watched so it takes it's cues from there I suppose?
