Bear grylls island shows men are better at surviving

Well it's been 6 episodes now and to be frank the women are embarrassing, like wtf they kept wild pigs as pets when they haven't ate for 4 days and the men are showing the world which gender have the ability to adapt and survive better

@masterkungfu: in day to day life but have you watched the show? I'm not saying men are better at everything not at all in anyway but there is a massive difference between the genders ability to survive

The most I ever heard of this show was that they accidentally killed and ate an endangered crocodile.

These kinds of shows tend to test skills that men are better oriented to in the first place, and they've been done before. I remember there was one show from Scandinavia with a similar premise that put men and women on two separate islands and after a while they had to transfer a few men to the women's island to save them from starving to death. Even so, they only prove men are better at this one particular skillset.

Bear Grylls is full of crap

Yeah, the women kind of failed early on when they decided to split up. If they'd watched any Scooby-Doo episode, they'd realise splitting up tends to lead to bad things.

@saren: yeah I should of made it clearer in OP and change the OP because I do not think at all men are better, just in modern society it seems women's survival skills have degraded quicker than the men's

its so clear that males are superior in physicals and survival... lets say that it was all men vs women in a survival situation with no electricity, no food no nothing just pure survival skills if you dont think men would stomp and even thrive than you are in denial

So, it's basically a rip-off of Survivor?

Well Biologically speaking Men are built better for this kind of thing, meaning if a Women can do this she's a badass.

@comicsrulebutdbzdoes2: l don't think that's the reason , tbh l don't think women had much abilty to surfive as it was , not trying to be sexist but it seems like that was and is the case , women needed men to provide for them during the stone age and neolithic stone age generally). food ect , women just got impregnated and gathered some berries now and again, the only thing women would have done would be farming which arrived much later on but that's a controlled situation set up by men
