I actually like both equally for different reasons. Both are badasses but I understand why people may not like the new Lobo. They should have just made him a new character.

i like the new one as a character , he could have been his own character...he didn't have to be "lobo"

Old Lobo. It seems they have done away with his "toon force" powers in New Lobo though which is kinda nice.

Old Lobo was funnier. New Lobo is much more interesting.

To be completely honest and know this is taboo, but I think both are pretty douchey lol but if I had to pick one I would probably go with the old one.

If I worked to DC I would create a comic with both of them and the story would be about both and their rivalry etc

I think that would be a good story and would work for old and new readers.

@wbr17: what new readers, i honestly can't even find the sales data on n52 lobo, im assuming because it is piss poor. also they should have at least done that, but they just had new lobo kill old lobo and say he was an imposter the whole time. what a bad way to start a story

I used to buy old Lobo comics in the 90's, but like Duke Nukem and Steven Segal movies, he is a product of his time best left to memory. I think I've only read one of the new Lobo comics so I can't say if he's better or worse. I can only say there are more interesting cosmic-trotting characters around these days.

Yes. Lobo had a funny attitude. Nobody ever took him serious. He was a cartoon character that walked around giving cool one liners. New Lobo is brutal and doesnt play. Thats way better than old lobo as far as assassins go. Its ok to like both for different reasons. Old lobo was much funnier, and thats awesome. but new lobo is much more interesting. Have you been reading the new 52 lobo series?

This, although, I think instead of making him a new character, they should make him Lobo from Young Justice.

The main problem with the Main Man, is that he's dated. He's a parody of something that doesn't exist anymore, to the point that he's kinda lame. If you make a character like him nowadays, people would laugh /at/ him, not with him.

Young Justice modernized Lobo, but didn't change him drastically enough to offend old fans.

Old Lobo. Old Lobo is LIFE. While I do admit I am reading the Lobo series and am enjoying it I would much rather see old Lobo. I only wish DC treated the new Lobo situation better and made them the same being.
