Stargate Universe was a series that followed the cancellations by MGM of Stargate SG-1 and SGA.
It's basically the joke from episode 200 gone into an actual TV series.

Awh man, Robert Carlyle's awesome in this show.

Although the message I took away from this is even if you're literally light years away from any other people, a nice guy will always lose out to the handsome guy. Eli showed me every galaxy has a friend zone lol
