This is a thread where we discuss are favorite bait to use!

What kind of bait you like to use and what works the best!

Also, where do you see the future of bait use going?!

I'll start! I like to use live bait over artificail bait lately but artificial bait can work great too!

Right now I like using live minnows!

@bumpyboo: I want to discuss!! I've been fishing since I was four years old! What kind of fish you catching?

You fish?? That's awesome ^_^ I catch mostly tiddlers and throw 'em back, nothing more than a couple of pounds but I really enjoy the experience. Just being outside with your thoughts. As they say, if it was about catching, it wouldn't be called fishing :)

@bumpyboo: I know! I just love collecting my self and getting away from it all! The quiet is relaxing and also for personal reasons my dad died so it's nostalgia for times I spent with him. He was a fisherman who trawled fish till is last breath.

@albusan: Aw I am really sorry to hear that, man :( Actually got into fishing entirely because of my dad, to this day I wear plaid shirts because I always used to insist on having a fishing shirt like daddy's :)

@bumpyboo: That's kool we have that in common! I use to hate it when I was a kid because it would get so damn cold and I just wanted to stay home watch cartoons and play video games. But I'm grateful that I learned!

Hehe! It's a worthwhile pursuit, definitely gives you a respect for nature and the cycle of life. Although my dad also got me into cartoons and video games, so can't comment on that second part XD

I'm more into crabbing rather than the typical fishing.

I like standard of worms, but a good trick plastic worm can be quite effective for blackbass

also Chicen livers for catfish

Wow look at all these master baiters on here.

Fat, wriggly bottom dwellers are all fine and dandy, but sometimes all you need is a tiny shiny bit, and you're good to go. All flash, no substance works well. (:P)

True, sometimes bubblegum on the hook works great!
