Attraction to Fictional Characters

Has anyone here ever been attracted to a fictional character?  And I don't mean  "ZOMG LARA CROFT IS HAWT!"  I mean an emotional attraction.  Comic books, movies, books, etc.

There goes my post. Damned misleading titles.

Physical attraction of course.  Emotional attraction never.

Actually, come to think of it I always felt strong sadness and joy for Ender Wiggin from Ender's Game. His whole life is tragic and beautiful.

Boss (MGS3, her death made me cry)
Johnny 5 (I cried when he got beat to pieces in Short Circuit 2)
John Marsten (I was angry at the end of RDR)
the Terminator in T2 (Didn't Cry, but I was distressed)

Shadow in American Gods. He pissed me off because he was so freaking hard to read, yet at the same time he was easy to like.

I really, reeeeeally liked Elphaba from Wicked. Does that make me gay?

I feel both physical and emotional attraction to my favorite fictional characters.

I feel attracted to Lightning of FFXIII and Terra of FFVI. Not just physically but admiration to their guts and character as a whole. I don't feel emotionally attached though.

Nah not emotionally. Maybe visually a little, I mean look at Rangiku or Black Cat.

Never really emotionally physically sure but its nothing i really go "ZOMG THIS GIRLIS HAWT".

Of course. It happens much less frequently now, but in the past (particularly in my early teens) there have been a few.

I wanted to kill Bendis after what he did to the Sentry, so I suppose that counts.

Fred's and Wesley's deaths in Angel make me cry everytime.

really, what we feel is internal, and built in our own feelings and perceptions/interpretations of what is outside us, hence,
all attractions could be considered to a fictional character in a way.

Yeah, characters from Bleach, Darkstalkers, Witchblade (anime), Marvel, DC, and some others. 

Do you mean attraction as in "I'd want to have a relationship with her?", or just being invested in the character's fate?

I'm not sure if I could say that I've been so emotionally attached to a fictional character that I've had severe emotional reaction to any action they've done or have had happen tp them.

I do know there are some things that have made me go "Aw what?" or "C'mon!" or "That was stupid, why did that have to happen, etc." or all three together.

Alot of the Watchmen got something outta me, mainly spite.
Except Rorschach, he was the only guy I really enjoyed reading.
But for Veidt? Oh I hate him, him and the Comedian and Dr. Manhattan get the force of my hatred.

I only have an emotional attachment to characters that I created.

Definitely! I feel very emotionally attached to my favourite characters.

But yeah, Game of Thrones has definitely got me emotionally invested. Comic books, not so much. I thought it was f*cked up when they killed Blue Beetle because no one wanted to listen to him, but that's about it.

When I was a little sprout, Bambi didn't bother me, but I cried at the end of Godzilla. I'm not sure what I was expecting; I must have been hoping he'd just kill everyone.

Yeah, definitely. I mean, physical attraction is nice and all, but looks aren't everything. I tend to go into detail on the entries for my comic-book crush lists about what attracts me to characters in terms of personality, as much as I address what I find physically attractive about them as well. If I have an attraction to a character, I'll definitely react if something bad or good happens to them, because I feel the corresponding emotions for either situation. For example, the Book 3 finale for Legend of Korra pretty much broke me, and I spent some time afterwards wishing I could do something, anything, to make her feel better.

If you mean emotionally attracted, like if something bad happens to the character and if he/she dies then that makes me sad? If that's what your asking then yes.

Some characters are hot but I've never fallen emotionally for them.

I mean, I adore some characters but they're characters so no.
