At what age is someone no longer a 'kid' in your mind?
Depends on the person. Some people I might still consider a kid well into their 30s.
This.
Depends on the individual person and the definition of kid you are using. In this context i'm go with 14 years of age thats the earliest time that i think is common for a Girl to be able to have children and that's also about the time that boys start to become aware of the opposite sex and see them for more than just friends but a love interest. Also 14 is the common age of high school freshman.
@abyssdarkfire: The definition is whatever definition you personally would attribute to the word.
@spambot: yeah i think 14 is age that you're not a kid enough because that age you are capable of understanding how the world is making many minor decision as well as at least one major decision that will affect the rest of your life such as what high school to go to.

Depending on their overall maturity.

"Kid" is not an age it's a state of mind. Once you're about 18 to 21 though, the law and society no longer cares. You better be ready for adulthood.
@noone301994: Its really for you to decide what it means and how you apply it.
Fourteen or older and you aren't a kid. I expect you to be able to take care of yourself in most ways. That doesn't mean I view you as an adult, but I believe you are capable of handling serious responsibility by that age. Heck, most cultures throughout history consider fourteen adulthood.

When they stop going to Chuck E. Cheese's.
YUP.
@spambot: I think a person stops being a "kid" once they hit 13. At that point they become teenagers. Hence the TEEN in thirteen. I think a person becomes an adult at the age of 19-21 though.
@noone301994: That's fine but I don't think the word teen in teenagers really has any relevance to the question. It has relevance to being over the age of 12.
@spambot: Well in my opinion a teenager isn't really a kid. I see kids as being 7-12 year olds. That's just my two cents.

Physically - anywhere from teenaged to early 20's
Legally - 18
emotionally - varies
intellectually - varies (and to a certain extent, its impossible to fully mature in this area)
@rev_sulphur: what % of the world's residents are in your phone book?
I'd say in their 20's. I still consider teens as "kids" since they haven't had as much life experience as say someone who's 25 has. That doesn't always apply, but for the most part. Also if I recall, don't they still address teens as "kids" in films and such? I know it's not the first time I saw someone call someone who was 17-18 a "kid"

Nailed it.

Less than 0.01%
@spambot: True, but as a whole I don't think society cares. As more and more children are being charged as adults.
@lukehero: Charging anyone over 18 as adults isn't necessarily the same as perception though. People over the age of 40 or 60 are generally always going to see people under 25 as being kids or young adults because people still make so many stupid decisions at that age and still have so much left to learn about life. Teenagers love to think they are grown up after they get out of high school then get into college and make stupid mistake after stupid mistake because they still don't know any better.
@spambot: You've got grown kids don't you?
