Wow, that was awesome. I always like these CG trailers, I'm waiting for them to integrate it into the game, the graphics will blow the roof! Can't wait to buy this game, thanks for the posting.
This looks freaking amazing. If they are ending Desmond's journey I wonder if they will continue on with the franchise in some form? This is my favorite game franchise in recent years. Also is it just me or does it look like they got rid of the hidden blade in place of a tomahawk?
Swords were still in use around the revolution. Almost every officer carried one on(and sometimes off) the battlefield. So no, sword combat is probably not disappearing.

No, the hidden blade will still be there. No word on if he'll have one or two, but him having at least one is confirmed by Ubisoft.
Also, it's an announcement trailer. You really expect them to show more than a little bit? They didn't show him using a bow or firearms, but they showed up in the trailer. Patience. It's very likely that over time they'll reveal that swords are still going to be used.
@Doctor!!!!!: totally agree with that, I would like to see a movie done, AC Embers was okay, but it was made with the engine that does these game trailers, but i did enjoy that short 22 minute film of Ezio's last journey.
