I don't know if I asked this before but how did you feel about the Mandarin in IM3 and Malekith in Thor the Dark World?

Any apprehensions about how Ronan will be like in GotG?

@dragonborn_ct: I hated that stupid Mandarin switch in IM3, it wasn't funny and it was a total waste of a character and possibly the only cool villain Iron Man actually has. Malekith was underwhelming since he was so 2D.

Yeah I love the character Ronan and I am slightly bummed that he's just a straight up badguy with Thanos but I suppose they are going with the Ultimate rout since thats what he was in that universe. He does look kinda fake like you can tell he's just wearing facepaint but hopefully he looks better on film also Lee Pace is a good actor so I have no worries with that.

I do hope Drax gets to perform his finisher on Ronan since it's so badass and I know they won't let it happen with Thanos.

You know, the more I think about it, the Mandarin reveal gets worse and worse... If Killian was meant to be the Mandarin's counterpart all along, then it means he also created the Ten Rings, which lead up the Iron Man's creation, inadvertently being responsible for all bad things that happened in the movies. All because Tony left him waiting in the roof. This plot development was so terribly stupid they had to retcon it with an short featuring Ben Kingsley's character, saying there is another Mandarin that is very displeased that his name (damage control at its finest)

And yeah Malekith was pretty lame. His original character was not very remarkable (at least from what I've read), but they could have made him a better villain personality-wise.

Yeah same thing... I read somewhere that Drax won't have a beef with Thanos anymore like in the comics, but instead Ronan will be his arch-enemy. I guess we can hope that Drax will be the one to finish him off like that :P

Yeah, I mean conceptually he sounds really cool but I suppose the movie just lived up to the comic in being lackluster.

Yeah I mean it's a small price to pay because we know one character isn't going to get to take out Thanos like that and it will have to be a team effort. I still like Thanos will be an arch enemy to Drax but he's more focused on Ronan. Like Thanos ordered Ronan to kill Drax's family/planet so Drax swears revenge on Ronan but it's still ultimately Thanos's fault or something.

Ugh I haven't seen that before but now it just makes me think it's worse

hm the Jiangshi are Chinese vampires that are blind and have to hop everywhere I seen them in Sleeping Dogs and Mr Vampire

I think Destiny beta is pretty great, if I could find one fault it would be the bounties, I wish you could put bounties on other players and hunt them down in the open world.
