I like them as a whole. While I don`t really love any of them (when I was younger I liked them more), I can recommend almost any of them. Wall-e stands out the most, because of it`s themes. I really like well done what ifs.

Beethoven. Brahms. Vivaldi. Mozart. John Williams, though his work doesn`t seem original. What it IS, though, is a tribute to composers of classical music and 40`s action movies. That`s why I dig it. Also, he`s composed some gret songs.

No. I`ve been meaning to continue playing Godhand because of its camp-value, but I simply haven`t.

Is Jahveh/the God of Christians a mythological one? People still worship him, so he might not count as one. But if he/she/it does, will go with Jahveh. He`s pretty complex, because he started out as this vengeful entity with strict morals, and then changed in to a benevolent force as centuries passed. Then again, it`s not certain what he`s actually like.

I could go with someone else, too. But I don`t have as much experience with other kind of mythic persons as I`d like.

As for my faf artists in general (though ye did not ask): Gösta Sundgvist from Leevi and the leavings (Band dispanded when he died, rest of them regrouped a few years ago. Should support them.) and Joe satriani (just way too cool instrumental music). I like classical rock and others, too, but those two stand out the most.

I played an internet Pokemon-game when I was about ten. It was pretty different from all the gameboy etc.-versions. My user name was, get this...Carnage666. Yeah, I named myself Carnage666!

I played it because:

a) I found it kinda cool in some weird way.

b) Alot of my classmates (amongst whom I wasn`t popular with, obviously) played it too, so there was a subconscious need to fit in.

c)There was pics of cool Pokemons in it.

But still, it had no animated fighting. So, not my faf. My faf is one of the Nintendo DS (or something) versions. The one with the villainous Aqua-team (Have they been in more than one?) and the cool "world will totally end if you play this wrong, and then you have to start again"-scenario. I never played it, but catched glimpses of it `cause this guy from my class room who actually did like me (During various years I was an a-hole to him. In my defence, I didn`t understand I did something wrong (which is a relative term, but in this case, to me, isn`t), and was younger.), had it.

The games are so much different than the boring tv-show, thats only plus is the Pokemons and the cool machines.

I use to like Lieberman. Because he`s such a fun guy. And, like most, I didn`t know that:

-He claims to have co-created all the characters. Or created, and had someone draw them (giving a visual side to the character is part of the creating, of course). I`d be surprised if he woulda created ten very minor ones.

-According to Roz and Jack Kirby, Stan didn`t give even a brief synopsis to Jack (prolly not even Ditko), as he claims.

-He changed Silver surfer from the way Kirby envisioned him to be. I would be absolutely fine if Lee had actually created a different character, and made it be the way he figured that Surfer should be...but of course he couldn`t.

-He wouldn`t let anyone write the character for years.

-He claims that he wrote all of that dialogue (Which itself is, as noted frequently, too volumous and boring. Has its moments, though.). Apparently, he had others write it.

-Or maybe he did write all of it. In either case, the story was changed from the way Kirby envisioned it to be. For example, Kirby had Asgardians talk like Americans (which is cool, strange and funny). Lee/Lees staff did not (which, granted, fits more properly).

I`m not as sore about this one though, because New gods of Kirby speak the way he wanted `em to.

-He accepted no compromises. As far as I know, that`s not a sign of a good collaborator. Hell, he didn`t really collaborate, did he now?

-BTW, since he has all that power, money and influence, why didn`t he have, for example, Kirbys name be on the credits for Avengers? Or somehow get Kirbys family a bit of money out of all the billions Marvel makes? Maybe he isn`t THAT influential. Maybe he`s a jerk.

-Oh, and he`s the reason why Ditko left MARVEL. Good for Ditko, though.

If my reasons seem as jumbled to you as they seem to me, there`s bunch of professional or more professional peeps who have written of the subject, and anecdotes from Lee himself, that betray him.

For example:

Granted, the guy`s not all bad (he gives credit for the artists, for example). Just mostly, it seems.

I`m not sure if I`m pissed at him. But I am surly. Very much so.

He has his own problems, so you sympathize with him, slightly. Like you do with alot of great villains.

I use to dig Spider-man alot. Nowadays, I understand that I like certain protrayals of the character, not the complete version.

Snoopy is the boss. And also an a-hole, sometimes. I like him, but he`s not the 1.

Some villain, prolly. Joker? I use to like him alot, and I still do. But no.

Jesus Desade is the man, too. An eccentric, decadent snob who bases his personality around being a rich, sexually broad twat.

Uh...I have already mentioned all the ones that I really like, that I can think of right now, in my lists. "Potential", for example.

I will have to find out more thoroughly in the future.

Some I hate...

The Yellow bastard, from the grabhic novel of the same name. Though I feel I shouldn`t, since he was obviously in need of psychiatric help. Also, he being in the book is to be the villain you GOTTA hate. So he`s not a character I cannot stand. Who I don`t wanna see.

I don`t hate any character. Just think that some are more boring and needless than others.

MARVEL

Pros: Publishes many books actually worth publishing. Is a better choice than DC.

Cons: Everything else.

DC:

Pros: Many great artists working for them (but not enough). Same with a few writers. Small amount of series I`m actually interested in. Great trades lately, containing decades old comics.

Cons: It`s awful. Always has been. Now more so than in decades, or ever.

Cons: Not aware of them, but they gotta be there.

I could say: Godland was cancelled. But that`s not the companys fault, entirely (of course some of the fault is theirs). It simply didn`t get enough buyers.

And...then there`s those that do a helluva fanciful job. Others that do a helluva dreadful job. And they`re all aound the world. I`m not sure if that means that they`re part of the industry, but I would imagine, taht they are, in some way.

If I would mean only DC and MARVEL (like everyone does), I would say that they still exist, those quality heroes and villains and all in the between aren`t given enough attention and none of the characters are in public domain.

I have hunreds or dozens that share the spot. Among my absolute faforites (which may or may not, be on that nro 1 spot) are:

From Grant Morrison (and all the artists, of course): New X-men, Seven soldiers of victory, Seaguy (it has so many delicious characters and turns of events that I like it, but it doesn`t have alot of sentimental value for me, yet), Batman: The butler did it & What the butler saw, Dr. Who: Culture shock (short story he wrote to the Dr Who magazines issue nro.139) and Superman: Beyond 3-D. If I would read all of his stories, I`d find lots of other fafs.

Fletcher Hanks works, about ten or so Kid Eternity stories from the `40s, Ann Nocenti written Daredevil, Paul Jenkins-Mark Buckingham Peter Parker: Spectacular spider-man-run, Pretty much any 50`s and 60`s comic from DC, Harley Quinns first solo series, Batman: Black and white (the back ups in Gotham knights are the best ones), Red headed Stranger (the bits that star Chameleon), Batman: Haunted knight, Kirbys Kamandi, Dingbats of Danger street from 1st issue special issue 6 (by Kirby), Tom Sciolis Satans Soldier, Lucky Luke, Cloak and Dagger (vol 2) issue 4 (where they meet The beyonder), The dark knight returns and its sequel, Carl Barks`s and Don Rosas Disney ducks-stories, (I used to really like, don`t know if I do anymore) Moores and Davis`s Captain Britain, Detective comics 583-584 (Ventriloquist and Scarface appear for the first time), Ompa-pa, Jasso...ghaaah I can`t remember everything...

The first, the second to last, and the last story from First time are good.

I`m in an art school, and the peeps here make great ones.
