Well, I'm a numbers person so I'd go for the 2 grand. No offense but if I invest that at a reasonable rate from what I've already projected from my current investments in average returns (actually assuming below average return by 7.5%) that would easily turn into quite the lump sum in about forty years.

I occasionally stumbled in from time to time when I was bored at home. I never commented because I didn't have an account. Then one day I decided to comment on a Deadpool vs. Nightwing thread I think. After that I continued along using whatever comicbook knowledge I had. Though at that time it had been half a decade since I read a single comic or manga, so a lot of the information I was using was only half right, and not all of it was very accurate. In the last year I've re read a few comics using ComicRack and updated my knowledge as well as remembered some of my more favorite characters.

Always a pleasure to see you. Either of you :D

I enjoy it actually. I wouldnt say it is worse or better, I'd just say it is different. As an artist/group grows and ages, so should there music. Linkin Park and The Offspring are perfect examples of that.

@ImmortalOne said:

When I was eleven a teacher dared mr to come up eith an easy to spell/pronounce word that wasnt a word in any other language, and I came up with Floopay. From there it became a username and then a character in my dnd sessions.

Back when I played RoninMUD (still do actually)my posts were always super long on the bulletin and information/suggestion boards and people used to poke fun at that. So I just added the "Thanks for reading" bit and finally it just stuck. Of course now they say they feel bad because they skim over my entire posts and see the thankd, so they feel obligated to read thewhole thing.

I would say tags arent necessary. I wouldnt put much thought into finding one, usually if you want one, wait for something to just naturally come out of you, make it really your own.

  • I won't play favorites. But I do enjoy debating with CadenceV2, DrinkUrPruneJuice77, youtself, nickthedevil, jeanroygrant, and more than a few others. Id name more, but Im ona phone typing.
  • Again no favorites. k4tzm4n makes me laugh, VanceAstro is hilariously stuck to his convictions, Buck is...well himself :P, and for some reason Im drawing a blank for the others.
  • all of them
  • Im not the best, I just try to remain polite and tend to think sidewaus, which throws people off. CadenceV2 is a feat machine, nickthedevil always has hilarious choices which sre awrsome, prunejuice is very straight forward, YoungJustice will push his point over and over until people finally agree with him, you're not afraid to admit you're wrong and switch tactics, and there are many others
  • Restaraunt owner.

  • I debated with someone in a Colossus vs Post SA Karate Kid thread awhile back. They posted like twelve pics of him making things explode with a single punch, and I said "Obviously he is going to punch Colossus in the right spot and make him explode" and the guy got super pissed. Though he probably wouldnt make my top five...
  • Cassy Cain, Midnighter, Batman, Deathstroke, Wolverine, Daken, Fantomex, WBH, Flash, Zoom, and so many others
  • Deadpool, Luke Cage, Beast Boy, Defenestrator
  • Yep, it'll be very different like the last one too

I've been reading Goblinscomic at http://www.goblinscomic.com and the Order of the Stick recently. But mostly I've been reading novels.

Favorite character on the Tick eh? Probably Sewer Urchin, though my favorite villain might be Proto Clown, The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight?, or Big Shot (kind of a villain?). But there are so many villains even that one is hard to choose, there's also the Human Ton and Handy, Chairface Chippendale, Dinosaur Neil, Omnipotus, etc.

All-time Favorite goes to Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year (the original). But my favorite current is Battlefield 3.

Favorite series is probably the War of the Spider Queen series (which is odd because I don't particularly enjoy R.A. Salvatore). But my favorite Novel might be either Sphere by Michael Crichton or Survivor by Chuck Pahlenuk.

Least favorite video game? Wanderers of Ys is up there. Maybe Final Fantasy X-2...

Phil Collins or Bono.

Many people believe Sephiroth's biggest flaw is that he prefers to play with his food before eating it (metaphorically speaking of course). However, that is completely false. There is one person in all of the FF7 franchise whom Sephiroth loves to torment, and that's Cloud. When Sephiroth first turned evil, he burned down an entire town of innocent people, and then proceeded to take down a top tier SOLDIER ruthlessly. And that was him after getting almost no sleep for the better part of a month.

Upon awakening (controlling his Jenova clone from a distance), his first act was to needlessly slaughter an army of SHINRA troops, and not just the ones between him and his destination, and then kill the president. The next signs of Sephiroth are when the party comes to the Midgar caves, where he had brutally impaled a Midgar Zolom on a tree. The next appearance after that is him slaughtering a good portion of the troops on the Cargo ship, and the bodies just keep piling up throughout the game.

Taking Sephiroth lightly is foolish, because he for sure isn't going to go easy, as he doesn't deem most people worth his time.

Favorite planet?

Real planet, I would say Earth. As fascinating as it is to see what life could have been on Mars, and the possibility of water on Titan (not a planet, but still interesting), the fact is there is just so much more to be found on Earth. We live on this planet, and still haven't explored a good portion of it, we have portions of the planet that inexplicably have drastically different magnetic fields than the rest of the planet. There are spots underwater where the pressure is so great, it forces Methane, which is normally a gas at those temperatures, into a solid state. There are shrimp that fire hot air from their bodies as a means of killing their prey. One of the most deadly animals on the planet is an octopus that's the size of a person's hand. This planet is completely fascinating.

Fictional planet? Faerun is my favorite. I love Marvel Earth, DC Earth, and various others, as well as Dark Sun, and some of the Star Trek/Wars planets, but Faerun will always be my favorite. I grew on Dungeons and Dragons, and have read a good many of their novels (and have started reading their comics). I started in the Forgotten Realms AD&D era, and to this day I prefer the Forgotten Realms modules over the Wizards of the Coast modules. Like the Faerun, Forgotten Realms 3.5 edition. The classes and prestige classes were so much better in my opinion, and they brought back all of my favorites, The Battleragers, Bladesingers, Buffoons, Visionaries, Breach Gnomes, and so many more, were always among my favorite classes (especially the Halfling Bard Kit/Prestige class, the Whistler).

Glad you asked btw, forgot this thread even existed. :)

Honestly? I hated FFX so much that I haven't gone back to the Final Fantasy series. I thought about picking up 13, because I heard the story was good, and the gameplay was so-so. However, story is the only thing that I ever looked forward to in the Final Fantasy series.

@floopay: Are you going to make a Tournament anytime soon?

Once my current tournament is finished I'll probably make one within a week or so afterwards, yes.

@floopay: Yeah the story is usually what I love most about FF.

What's your favorite in the series?

Are you picking up next gen console?

Did you see Man of Steel?

Favorite Final Fantasies, in order:

  1. Final Fantasy 7
  2. Final Fantasy Tactics
  3. Final Fantasy 3/6, a close third, probably tied for second tbh
  4. Final Fantasy 9, many people hated it, I know. However, I thought a lot of people missed the point. Where 7 and 8 were futuristic/modernized, I thought 9 was an amazing throwback, and sort of a tribute to their SNES and NES days. For this, I had a lot of respect for it. Additionally, I liked that the villain never really revealed his ultimate plan to the heroes. Something that deserves respect as well.
  5. Final Fantasy 8. HATED the gameplay. That being said, the story was actually pretty awesome, and I really enjoyed all the characters.
  6. Final Fantasy 2/4. Solid game, really expanded on the original Final Fantasy, and ushered in a new style of gameplay. Deserves much props.
  7. Final Fantasy 1. Deserves to be at the bottom of my *I liked this Final Fantasy* list. Why? Because I almost made it to the end boss the first time around with my Red Mage, White Mage, Thief, Fighter party, and then booted up the game and it erased my save. **** you Nintendo!
  8. Final Fantasy X - The one that made me stop playing the Final Fantasy series. Honestly, I've never felt like I had to grind in most games, even the ones I needed to. But the gameplay in this one was horrible IMO. Blitzball was amazing, I'll admit that, I spent 90% of the game playing that. However, I hated the main character, and if Auron said "Sin is Jecht" one more time I was gonna throw my controller through the ****ing screen.

Next Gen Console:

I'll be picking up all 3. Haven't picked up the new Nintendo yet, but I will. For sure will be getting the playstation though.

Man of Steel:

I still want to see it, don't tell me about it. I actually don't like Superman comics, but I love Superman movies. I even liked Smallville growing up.
