I could go either way. My school is a Pepsi campus but I get Coke when I go out. It's not something I lose sleep over.

Not really. I can't argue with him for scale, but you can find better mindless action.

I love wordplay (which explains why I love rap and shakespeare, and why King City and Prince of Cats are among my favorite comics of all time), but I feel like when people talk about puns they're usually talking about something dumber than what I'm thinking of when I say wordplay. Not that all puns are dumb, but I do have some standards.

I read a lot of Marvel. Currently, most of the X-books, Spider-Man, Daredevil, all the Ultimate stuff, the F4 books, and probably other stuff.

Depends on the song or my mood. If it's rap or hip hop or something like that, the cleverness, wordplay, and layering are most important to me. For most other kinds of music (where people actually sing) it's the overall sound and the words, but that can be voice, instruments, or a mixture, and it's never completely separate from the words, though their meaning might be irrelevant.

Forgetting the name of it at the moment, but the one in the future where MJ is dead, he's an old man who hasn't worn the suit in forever, and the enemy (trying not to spoil it) is trying to get the whole city under an energy net.

I read and watch things where the heroes don't always win and when they do, there are often severe costs.

Had a pretty wordy answer to this, but my computer shut off and I don't like to rewrite. I'll just say they both make some excellent comics and they both make crap ones. I don't feel like one just straight up makes better ones because I like a lot of Marvel comics but then I like some DC comics way more and I like a few Marvel comics even more, and then from week to week, my favorite comic can be from anywhere.

Again, had a lengthy answer to the first question that I'm not rewriting. Thankfully, David Brothers recently put something on tumblr that captures some of the thought in my response.

The writers — at least right now, in our writer-centric status quo — and editors are in charge of that. I mean, honestly: Sunspot (to pick a relevant example) was invented what, like 30 years ago? That dude was speaking Spanish in comics as recently as like 2010 or 2009, even though he’s from Brazil. This stuff is basic, and it still gets messed up.
More voices results in better stories. That’s what it is. I can tell stories you can’t, you can tell stories I can’t, and together, we can form like Voltron and knock somebody’s socks off.

My real answers to your second question would be a new Grifter and Jack Hawksmoor's son or just a second god of cities made by people from the future after Hawksmoor died, or better yet, created to replace him because the future has shifted somehow and the world city of that time wants something different from its agent in the past.

who do you like more grifter or midnighter and why

Depends. I like the Grifter of Wildcats 2 and 3.0 way more as a character than any version of Midnighter really. Midnighter is cool and all, I'd take his powerset any day, that he's a twist on Batman is fun, and he does actually have more to his character than ultraviolence and homosexuality, but I think Grifter is actually more interesting.

Only about surprise parties and gifts. I don't want to be lied to about anything else. Especially since I always find out when people are lying.

Storm, but that's because you can't have a reasonable debate once her fans show up. For instance, I think one of the fights I'd most like to see in comics or debate about on the site would be Jack Hawksmoor against Storm, but I'll never be able to have that debate without someone who is completely insane showing up. And what's worse is that there are some that are so insane, that mildly insane ones are accepted as reasonable by comparison when they're just better at hiding how off their rocker they are.

In order: Making a big force field to stop an alien invasion. Matching strength with Sebastian (a Majestic level opponent). Psychic tampering of Midnighter's mind. Mind controlling Jenny Quantum (at this point he's letting her control herself but still making her attack her teammate, before he was controlling her every action). Picking up stray thoughts like they were bits of conversation. The image after is just him controlling her while arguing with The Authority. The one after that is just the start of that (the images are out of order). Teammates talking about how he trained himself to be subconsciously aware of hostile intentions in anyone around him. Telepathically communicating with The High (on Earth) from space. Next image is the page for one. Read the next 7 in the opposite order, they're self explanatory as he's showing some of his small scale control of his powers, including slowing electricity, boosting his speed, and busting hearts. Destroying someone's mind with a blast. The last is showing that he always walks around with illusions covering his various battle wounds.

I have none. I'm pretty fit but all my exercise comes from running, swimming, biking, and various sports as time permits. I don't lift weights unless someone drags me to the gym to work out with them, and then I just follow their lead.
