@slacker the hacker

I saw this thread http://www.comicvine.com/stormwatch/65-26261/stormwatch-shouldnt-be-an-ongoing/92-689195/ you made. I was wondering if Stormwatch did get canceled what c would you pick to takes it's place?

I already read everything I want to. If Stormwatch disappeared I wouldn't pick up something just find a way to waste money.

@Mr Creesy

"Is Phastos Black? Also, do you know if DC will be using Battalion any time soon? Thanks for your help."

Looks black to me. Unfortunately no word on Battalion from what I've read.

@AFox

Listen, I've been looking for pictures of some of the bonus art from Wanted, and after seeing this picture http://www.comicvine.com/mister-rictus/29-41048/all-images/108-200103/110238-mister-rictus/105-83784/ I have realized you might have the art I was looking for. If you don't mind my asking, could you upload that splash page with the art of the defeated heroes?
@kcflashkills

can u show me more of that ww hulk when he fought blackbolt please
@HigorM

well, i really need some info about Jackson King, i want to use him instead of Maxima, what do you think? Do you have scans of his feats?
@Needlebay

Hey,
Do you have any scans of the feats you provided for Universal Majestic? Like instantaneous teleportation, infinite wisdom, thoughts into reality, etc...?

Maybe I'll upload images when i get home.

Well, I like that stories with characters I like (or at least versions of characters I like) will still be written and I guess I'd rather have that than nothing.

I wasn't offended. I thought sphincter/ass was funny.

Helspont is the only good one lol. The Stormwatch/Authority members got shafted, but it's not that their characters are bad now, but that they're written badly for the most part. They've shown up under other writers or in other books in the New 52 and have been good, just not so much in their own book.

@Buckshot: And to think that Helspont's appearance in the Superman was the one I wanted to see the most from WS and didn't get to read it in the end lol Have read the Stormwatch, the first arc anyway, thought it was ok but haven't read any of their books back when they used to be in WS so I can't compare. What did you think of Midnighter's costume?

I get that they need to distance him from Batman so it's fine that they changed up his look, but the chin spike is just foolishness.

I don't really know. I want to say yes because the question makes me think of comics as basically songs on iTunes, and I'd still be willing to pay for physical trades of things I like, but I'm sure that there are more factors than I'm aware of.

Also, that line is from (though I doubt originally) Prince of Cats by Ron Wimberly. It's currently my favorite comic and people should go out and purchase it.

My thoughts on Majestic in the DCnU are here. The only thing I probably havent said in that thread is that I'm hoping Majestic swoops in to save Superman and Earth from Helspont.

I don't play that often but when I do I usually play Skyrim. I've been toying with the Assassin's Creed series but I can't say I've gotten deep into it yet.

Depends which comics came out that week. I gurss I'd say Marvel more often than not. As for movies, Marvel so far, but I don't know who could really say otherwise. Dark Knight can't be asked to carry all the weight for DC.

Conan by far. Would He-Man ever say anything like this?

"I have known many gods. He who denies them is as blind as he who trusts them too deeply. I seek not beyond death. It may be the blackness averred by the Nemedian skeptics, or Crom's realm of ice and cloud, or the snowy plains and vaulted halls of the Nordheimer's Valhalla. I know not, nor do I care. Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and priests and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content."

No.

As for the Man of Steel, I have little expectations but hope to be surprised.

Either Aladdin or Tarzan, I've never been able to decide. Though Metropolis moved me more than any other.

In your Battle career, is there anyone that gave you particular trouble debating against?

Have you read much Stephen King? If so, favorite novel or short story?

Better film, Under the Red Hood or Dark Knight Returns Pt. 1?

#40 Posted by Buckshot (18915 posts) - - Show Bio

@Xanni15: I don't think I can really say anything but no to that first one. The discussions only get fun when people disagree with me and the more they do the more fun it is so while some might call that giving me trouble, it's the most enjoyable part. That said, I might say SeSaw because there was obviously a language difference there that made things difficult.

I have read a fair bit. I liked Cell, but not really for any technical skill displayed in its writing, but because I like zombies that aren't your normal zombies. I'd say the short story The Jaunt and Firestarter after that.

Haven't seen either of them but call me a snob, I'd call them cartoons and not films.

Awesome questions. I would probably want Majestic's story continued. When the WSU ended he was still healing from his battle with Sebastian but searching for Nemesis and their child along with whoever was behind her earlier rescue from a volcano and her weird personality change. I'd love to get the rest of that. As for the old DC, I could read the adventures of the Secret Six until the end of time.

I haven't, but I've wanted to. However, I'm backed up on books and really busy with school at the moment.

I'll remain a moderator as long as the tag remains under my name. That's not me being trying to be smart, I just don't plan on not being a moderator, but if it's taken away, it wouldn't bother me.

I moderate wherever I am. If I spend more time in one forum, that's where I see stuff and fix it.

It's whatever. I don't need to be a mod but I like that I'm able to help out with certain things when people ask for help or if I'm just on the boards and I see something stupid that needs to be removed.

Not particularly.

He answered it pretty well. Obi-wan/Anakin is a go to representation of our relationship.

There's very little reason to get into an actual fight. I'd say the purpose would be defense.

I don't really watch unless I'm with friends that do.
