Artificial Intelligent (cyborg, android, robot) are still People Yay or Nay?

Person - human being - homo sapien.

Cyborg is a person with cybernetic implants. (A person with enhancements - unless it's Windows, then they're just as screwed as the rest)

Robot is a machine. (Not a person)

Android is a robot with human appearance. (Not a person)

The question is should they be treated as a person.

If they can think for themselves, like a person, I'd treat them like a person.

Humans suck, id see a true AI as much superior therefor betray any human for them.

I know some people who treat their pets much better than they treat other people.

It may sound self-destructive to some, but it could become possible that I can turn into one, using the technology.

Id be one of those, my pets also treat ME better then other people, so id say they are more deserving of my affection.

This development would likely take time. Especially if we're not intentionally designing them to be like us. There'll be some bump and bruises in the process. I'd say if they begun to make A, B choices by themselves, I'd treat them like a child at their early stages.
