Poll Artificial Intelligent (cyborg, android, robot) are still People Yay or Nay? (17 votes)

My perception'd see them as a Person even though I don't. I'd feel uncomfortable if they're tortured, mutilated. I won't help them as aggressively as I'd help a Person. 0%
My perception'd see them as a Person even though I don't. I'd block out any empathy I feel for them. 6%
I can learn to accept them as people. I'd need time. 12%
I love them, especially when they can't have their freewill. 0%
I'm against technology and science, Artificial Intelligent is part of that. 0%
Don't let me find out that you're an Artificial being. 0%
I don't care, they're part of my journey of becoming an immortal. 6%
I'd betray Human if I have to for their survival. 24%
Any being that has selfawareness & Intelligent at a certain level is a Person. 24%

In this scenario, the artificial intelligent's intelligence is in par with Human intelligent, with emotions and all the features of a Human being.

Person - human being - homo sapien.

Cyborg is a person with cybernetic implants. (A person with enhancements - unless it's Windows, then they're just as screwed as the rest)

Robot is a machine. (Not a person)

Android is a robot with human appearance. (Not a person)

The question is should they be treated as a person.

If they can think for themselves, like a person, I'd treat them like a person.

@deadite: I read the question "Artificial Intelligent (cyborg, android, robot) are still People Yay or Nay?". My answer was to clarify that. Sorry.

I agree. And I don't want you to feel left out so I decided to post.

It may sound self-destructive to some, but it could become possible that I can turn into one, using the technology.

I know some people who treat their pets much better than they treat other people.

This is an option I forgot to add to the poll.

Id be one of those, my pets also treat ME better then other people, so id say they are more deserving of my affection.

I treat my Toaster like a person.

I yell at it all the time for not paying its share of the electricity bill

This development would likely take time. Especially if we're not intentionally designing them to be like us. There'll be some bump and bruises in the process. I'd say if they begun to make A, B choices by themselves, I'd treat them like a child at their early stages.
