He has realism while not making the characters look ugly or fat
Artgerm is better than Alex Ross
He has realism while not making the characters look ugly or fat
You're looking for realism and you don't accept a character can be ugly or fat?
@supreme_marvel: Superman shud not look like someone's over the hill grandpa
@jointron33: You mean Kingdom Come where it's like 20-30 years further into the timeline?
@supreme_marvel: Ross always makes superman look ancient
@jointron33: So by that response you must be 12?
@supreme_marvel: No
Superman shud not look like pa kent
@jointron33: When Ross drew Superman regularly for DC, it was pre-New 52; where Superman was in his mid to late 30s. Not exactly young. He drew him the way he should look. On regards to the Pa comment, that is defiantly Kingdom Come, you need to do a bit more research into Ross.
If you believe Ross' not as good as someone else because he draws Superman older, that's not a very good reason to think someone is better than another person.
@supreme_marvel: Pre new 52 supes was still not in a rocking chair
@jointron33: Show me what you believe to be old and I'll correct you on why you're wrong.
@supreme_marvel: His superman does not look youthful or full of power
@jointron33: I meant point out an image or images.
Yeah, he's awesome.

Here we have Papaw Superman reclining in his lazy boy, ready to take his evening meds
@jointron33: He looks a bit overweight, but he's sitting in a chair with bad lightning.
Perfectly normal SuperMAN. Not SuperBOY.
@supreme_marvel: he doesn't look TOO old there
Woah. Woah, woah, woah, woah woah woah. Holey crap, woah.
Alex Ross and Artgerm(Stanley Lau) are apples and oranges to each other. Ross is a classically styled artist whose influences include George Perez, Andrew Loomis, Berni Wrightson, and Norman Rockwell. Artgerm works predominantly in the digital spectrum, and his influences stem from both Eastern and Western sources.
You'll like what you like, but opinions ain't facts.
