@allstarsuperman: Yes, felicity, I mean I could traverse the multiverse and find that actual incarnation of her, that would be preferable. She's probably my joint favourite character, I like Diggle, her and Ollie equally.

On that note -

Does anyone really like Diggle? He's a very good addition to the lore of Green arrow, I would like to see him added to the mainstream. It'd be cool if in 20 years he's as integral to Ollie as Harley is to the Joker. Felicity is also a big part of the series but she is already a character in DC [not N52 though - that should be rectified]

I might be fanboying, it's just that this is how Green Arrow should be done.

@guardiandevil83: Yea I'm not saying Slade betrays him just maybe he becomes a merc like in the comics and is hired to take out the hood but when he realizes who he is he could become like a partner of his. I mean it could go the other way to and he does betray him but i don't want it to go that way cause then Slade would die cause they cant kill off the main character.

Arrow is really impressing me. It began quite confused and humble in a sense and now it's truly a show to be reckoned with.

That episode was pretty solid. I hope the writers and producers heard the cry of the fans and decided to omit all the romantic melodrama and focus on the story of Ollies struggles to save Star City.

I wonder how he gets out of the situation he is in right now...

4 new comics and a new episode of arrow starting?

OH. MY. F**KING GOD.

I thought this episode was kind of a let down at first. The villain was meh and the flashbacks were a little meh. It did give us a good helping of Black Canary which was awesome, but I was disappointed...

@fallschirmjager: I knew a season ago that Black Canary would use sonics, not have a superpowered scream. I was disappointed that it wasn't Malcom, but Ras al Gul name drop was pooptastic. and the doll maker is a horribly scary villain.

@allstarsuperman: I felt the same way when he took off his mask. I was like "Oh...its not Malcolm"...and then he named dropped and I'm like "OMFG"

And the sonic device was pretty cool. It makes me curious how they're going to handle Flash's powers. Because this show feels better without superpowers. If they could some how make his powers technology based, I think I might like it more in this universe.

I don't think he makes sense without powers, I'm just not sure how I feel about powers in this universe - so I'll wait and see.

@allstarsuperman: I think the show is very well grounded and I'm not sure if that will stick once they start adding Superpowers.

Especially Ollie who at this point is just a dude. I'm not sure how its going to work if he's "character zero" and yet is a weakling. I realize that works with Batman and the JLA but its a little different when it comes to TV shows.

Especially given the dude they cast as Barry is like 23, so Barry is presumably going to be younger than Ollie and Ollie will probably play a mentor ish role.

Its all wild speculation on my part though, so again. I'm just waiting to see how it plays out and tempering my expectations lol

... Ra's Al Ghul.... The Demons Head... My third favorite character ever... Was on arrow... And i missed it.... Now i don't usually swear but F U DEATHSTROKE19!!! I set an alarm to go off at seven and i take my dog out for a walk and my alarm goes off when I'm not there and then i get back and i forget its seven and then i do homework for a bit then i check comicvine and i see the arrow discussion up and i was like MOTHER father! WHAT THE manure! Please tell me someone has a link. If not ill just be killing myself. *sarcasm*

Seeing as how Black Canary's powers arent meta human, I wonder how they plan on introducing the Flash.

Amazing, amazing episode!

The name of the ship Ollie & Slade were on is called Amazo, as in the power absorbing android made by the experimenter Professor Ivo. So I think Slade will get experimented on in their, to see if they can remedy his burns/eye. But I actually think his eye is fine and that's a red herring. Going back to the pilot, he's going to lose his eye courtesy of Ollie in my opinion.

ONly time will tell about Amazo, but Slade's powers (I might be showing my ignorance) arent really anything but special steroids that bring him to peak human condition and advanced brain function. But yeah, Slade's loosing that eye, no doubt about it.

Slade is actually a metahuman who was made via experimentation gone right, increasing his brain capacity to 90% [a misnomer] and all physical attributes massively.
