I'm down for watching this, but I do have to say Salvation was the best, although 1 & 2 hold a special place in my heart due to nostalgia abd the awesome violence.

Better to scrap the series then take away the person that made it iconic.
Yeah, Bale is generally an awesome actor, but there is no terminator without Arnie.

Not sure, they are both pretty equal to me (as far as I remember). Maybe the second one was slightly better.
I always liked the first one better for the same reason I like Alien better than Aliens. T1 was more horror than it was action and it was pretty scary so I really liked that but the second one was more action and it was also the beginning of the end for the Terminator being a badass. After that he didn't kill anymore and it led to the the family friendly goof in T3. Also T2 had that little brat in it.

I was not a fan of T3 at all, Salvation was better in my opinion - I just didn't particularly like any of the two. For me Schwarzeneggers presence and typical 80's over the top badass-ness is what made the movies what they are. Although 1 and 2 are ofcourse good movies at their own rights as well. I do agree about Alien though, I liked the first movie more then the second.
Damn Arnold has still got it. Will definitely be watching this movie. Also, I heard that Arnold is playing Sarah's grandpa in this movie. So the grandpa becomes the model for the future terminator in the movies.
