@logy5000: I've had 4 near death experience and I'm not afraid of dying.
Then I'm assuming you're either crazy or just a bad@ss.

My 90-year-old grandmother has expressed her satisfaction with life and wishes to die because her children no longer needs her.
So I guess not everyone is afraid of death.
A little, sometimes. Generally it seems less scary then life but as someone who's felt death coming close a couple of times it really starts to gnaw at me how little I actually know about it, some possibilities are certainly scary, some - are peaceful. In the end we can't change the fact that we end, so better not to think about it too deeply, no need to be scared longer then necessary.
@batwatch: I could provide you a better insight of what I'm talking about, but I'd need to re-read a few articles, I'm giving you info from my memory hehe.
Well adrenaline helps you feel less pain I believe, but I was more or less talking about if someone died of a heart attack or of old age. But then again if someone were to die of a missing arm, I'd figure they would feel peace as the brain pumps out chemicals into the brain, as they start to go drift into unconscious.
@monsterstomp: if you're worried about how you'll die I can take you assassin creed style.
I'll be honoured to have a death by the hands of an assassin.
