Are video games bad??

what would you say is the maximum time a human should spend playing video games.

In a lifetime? Or each day?

I would say 4 hours or so a day is a healthy amount. But who gives a sh!t, really. I used to game 2 days straight during LAN-parties.

I think it depends on how much said person needs to do in a day.

We're not poured from a mold. There is no one size fits all.

I don't think there's a limit. Obviously playing all day every day is not healthy, but having a day off and deciding to spend it on gaming is okay, as long as your life in no way suffers from it.

i have not played a Video Game for months at a time. i get way to bored easy of them.

I remember playing Shut Your Mouth when I was younger and I fell asleep at the conmtroller. I woke up and the match was still going on LOL

My friend once played Kingdom Hearts 2 for so long that he threw up and got pretty sick. That was like, days though.

@sophia89: No, my friend. I've played games for nearly that long before, but I've never gotten sick. The OP was specifically asking for negative health effects from prolonged video game playing, so I gave an example I knew of.

the point of video games are to escape reality so it dosen't really matter as long if you're on it all day
