Sometimes but they're still pretty good. Tons better than mods on other forums. But there is the occasional time where they lock a thread I feel doesn't at all need to be locked.

Mods are almost never wrong since they are more used to this site then most viners. In battles, read the damn rules, I make some mistakes sometimes, but compared to other viners who make unfair battles or dupes, i'm almost perfect. Off topic and other threads is a matter of preference, if a mod finds it offensive or harmful they lock it. Unless its a dupe, which is locked anyways.

We play drinking games based off who will be banned next. And we braid SC's hair.

I'm trying to be more like Mercy actually. Cute and terrifying at the same time.

I've seen downright horrible moderators on other sites. I've seen alright moderators. These are the first great moderators I've seen on a forum. The moderators on this site are the best I've ever come across.

I've been back since the beginning of August, I just used different role playing handles. Particularly the ones of female characters so people stop confusing my gender.

Yeah I'm one of a handful of viners from the 1.0 era who's still around. We're a dying breed.

I'm pretty solidly embarrassed by my pre-2010 posts though.

Lol no worries I haven't really seen many posts from you. See I was thinking about doing some rpg but when I started reading some of the posts I got confused and left haha.

The old vine isn't really worth being nostalgic about. It was extremely noob intolerant, there was pretty much zero forum moderation (a guy posting porn took more than a day before the staff could descend from their ivory towers to stop it), flame baiting and trolling was the norm, and if you think you've seen bad debaters in the current battles forum it used to be much worse. The people who stuck around often grew to be pretty legit yeah.

I could help introduce you to the setting with a one on one role play if needed and show you the ropes.
