Are 3ds games for kids?

Thinking of getting a 3ds and wondering if the games are challenging compared to xbox games-for example how challenging are the new mario games?

Super Mario 3D Land is pretty easy, but once you beat it, it opens up eight more worlds, and they're incredibly hard. And to answer your title question as to whether or not 3DS games are for kids, who cares? Most Nintendo games are "for kids," I guess, but they're designed to appeal to everyone. Really.

Just check the ERSB rating plus you can turn off the 3D when you want.

Fire Emblem, dragon quest, metroid, street fighter, project x zone and many others can be challenging at times. Most Nintendo games rely on alternatives to just a difficulty system to provide a challenge
