One of my first Xbox games and def my first Bioware game. One of my favorite action RPGs of all time.
Anyone remember this game?
@jaken7: Pyramid head had his own game? :O

Kurt Hectic looks nothing like Pyramid Head!
Okay, maybe there's a slight resemblance.
Jade Empire is actually my most favorite video game ever, right after a few other Japanese video games. I beat the game on Master difficulty with Radiant Jen Zi with nothing else than the Thousand Cuts style (fully upgraded).
@thewhiteronin: Jade Empire is more chinese influenced than japanese. My favorite character was the monk that came with the special edition.

Bioware is Canadian. It's not a Japanese game.

I'll type a clearer message next time, sorry for misconstruing you. I meant that Jade Empire was among my most favorite video games, but it falls behind some Japanese games that I like more. I know that Bioware created this game (and that it is indeed, NOT Japanese). I know that Jade Empire is a Wuxia-influenced game.
@thewhiteronin: Ah, ok. When you said "other Japanese video games" I took it as your implication that Jade Empire was a Japanese game.
@jaken7: had no idea they made a second MDK. Weird.

MDK 2 is the only one I've seen/played.
Hey I remember Jade Empire back in my high school days. It was fun Action-RPG but remembering it now I notice the game had like frequent collision and hit detection issue during combat in which ironically, martial arts heavily revolves around that. That was my only complaint about the game, everything else like the RPG aspects were great!
@vandersexxx: I think. It was an Xbox exclusive but got put on steam awhile back.
@thecannon It has some ridiculous difficulty spikes. Almost everyone I know that's played it has gotten stuck at the same area. If you like Action RPGs with a meaty amount of narrative, choices and combat, you will like it. It's like Kung Fu version of Mass Effect.
@darthaznable: I see, wasn't able to play it cause at that time I was too busy playing this....
@jaken7: there was a ps1 game that was just MDK, bizarre little game that time hasn't been kind to.
