@ssejllenrad: actually I always thought soccer had much more right to call itself football than american football being that in soccer you actually use your feet where as in american football there are only 2 guys on a team even allowed to kick the ball
@joshmightbe: To be clear on this: Football was called football because it was played on-foot as opposed to on-horse like polo. Then things broke away from one another and retained the name.. First association football, then rugby football (which then gave birth to both australian football and rugby league), then american football, etc.
@TheGoldenOne: The almighty River Plate got relegated. So can our beloved club. But I am pretty confident that they wont. I'm still praying that they won't. Hehe! But worse comes to worst, I'll still support the gunners premier league or not.
