my gf who i been with for years left me for some guy she been with for a few months.
At least she didn't turn into a lesbian on you. That would be a sticky situation...
Only because I cheat a lot. It's horrible.
I hate to admit this... I was the other guy. They would break up with their boyfriends only to find out later that I never really cared for them. So I gave up women because I don't develop attachments; no attachment, no love. As I matured, the women were married, usually with young children. I couldn't justify contributing to breaking up families. Then my first male partner left his longtime partner to be with me. His ex was in the final stages of life when he decided to move back in with his elderly mother. They're all dead now. I've lost many friends and lovers but I'm still here. I guess only the good die young.

Okay, what?!? Firstly, no one "turns" homo, it's just that some people have a harder time accepting who and what they are (fortunately, I am not among them. But my sister...). Secondly, I should hope that if she had left him for a chick he would realize he couldn't possibly compete, that she would've been looking for something that he obviously couldn't provide. Leaving him for another man opens up all sorts of questions regarding how she valued both guys, and why.
If she left you over some BS like that then she didn't deserve you >_>
I've taken a few, lost a few, it's the circle of life.
Damn son!Why would you let that get away?@Sherlock said:
Yup.Needless to say it was the worst mistake she ever made (She said this not me)Mine went on the opposite end of the spectrum, never talked to me again and became a model.

Verily. She is my tapeworm-Queen.
Same as Satyr... I was the other guy. Sort of. My wife and the other guy weren't an "item" then. Well she was exclusively dating this one dude for about three months or so before I came into the picture and they stopped seeing each other and she cut off communications with that other dude. Every time I see that man I get this look like he wants to kill me. Nyehehe!

I've intentionally been the other guy, and after the girl has left her bf for me, I've shown little or no interest in them, and because of the way I broke them up, there's absolutely no way they could ever get back together. I use to do it just for fun, cause I knew I could, but now that I'm actually looking for something a bit more serious, I've found I've burnt so many bridges with people, that it's become extremely difficult to maintain a relationship with someone for more then a month!

i'll let you know AS SOON as i get a gf
Found out from a good bud my gf at the time was making out with another dude at a party. We're friends these days, but the close feelings we had for each other have never been the same since the day we broke it off. We were both in High School at the time *shrugs* It's okay though, she's the one who has to live with the guilt, and go to sleep every night knowing I made her happier than any one of those other douchebags who weren't even half the man of her dreams ;)
@redbird3rdboywonder: yea, i just found out yesterday. she lied to me she told me that she liked him and that he was just a friend. till a instagram photo of them kissing each out came out and when i called her phone he picked up and when i found out, she got mad at me and they both started to cuss me out, i want to beat his ass.
but just 2 days ago she told me she loved me and she even cried on the phone saying she misses me cause we dated for 5 years but the last year of the 5 years we were on and off we used to fight a lot over little petty things or cause she lied and i found out and yesterday when she was cussing me out she told me she dont love me no more and that she loves him but they only dated for 4 months going on to 5.

That's deep, man... So deep.
It's a sad part of life, but it happens. Yes, you probably want closure and want to know why she did what she did. But, it's just best to accept what happened and move on.....I know that's not the ideal advice that you want right now. It's just....sometimes we're better off not knowing why.

@Illuminatus: Mr. Ed's schlong was too much for me. I could not maintain my fidelity.
Closest I've had to that:
Girl had been displaying interest in me. And initiated. I liked her a bit, so I decided I'd give her a decent chance. Took her to a party like she asked, had a decent time and we danced intimately(See: Grinding). Then, my school had a "ball" - she found me during it after leaving the group she came with- probably searched for me - and then hung out and danced with me. Invites me to her place for cookies. Etc.
Everything was going seemingly well, my attraction for her grew a little. I guess it was more mutual then.
So....I took her to a club because a Caribbean Student Group on my campus was throwing a big party. "I'm going, you should come with me =]" "Kewl :) i'll go wit ya"
We went. I acted a gentleman, pulled door out for her. Saw some attractive girls I knew, but didn't dance with them because hey? Since I brought a girl with me solo that would be clearly disrespectful.
Dance with this girl. Girl refuses to dance intimately with me, spins back around every time I spin her and bring her closer. I get confused, shrug, and continue to actually dance with her...But periodically test her, and she continues to do the same thing. She also excuses herself to go to the "bathroom" like four times, despite not drinking anything. And each time she goes, and takes forever, I refuse to dance with other girls. Because hey, what if she came back and I was doing that? That'd be disrespectful. She takes ages in the bathroom each time. I was clueless. Later on in the night, we're dancing side to side watching some guy bust a move in the center of a dance circle in the middle of the dance floor. I spy some random guy trying to dance up on her from behind. I grab her hand, say "whoop", and try to spin her away.......She lets go of my hand, smiles at me, and says, "it's okay" and starts to dance up, all intimately, on this guy.
I stare at her. Shocked. Dancing. with. this guy. right next to me - facing me as she's dancing up on him. I think to myself:
Is this real life? Did that really just happen?
I swear I thought I'd only see that on a tv show or read stories about it on the MISC. Never imagined that happening to me. A girl having the nerve to do something so disrespectful.
I stood there and tried to ignore it and hide how affected I was. I'm pretty reserved, but emotions were running high. Being polite, I tell her I'm gonna walk around and leave her. Go to the bathroom to compose myself. Then, take the opportunity to dance intimately with other girls, but all the really attractive girls that I kinda knew had already left. I hold back my anger, and take time to go look for her(the original girl I brought) to make sure she hasn't been kidnapped and is okay - she's sitting down talking to the guy. Get tired of dancing and wait for the party to official end, since we carpooled with the president of the Caribbean Group that technically threw the party. I stand against a pillar near the more empty dance floor and watch people dance. She comes over from nowhere, stands next to me, and asks me if I've been dancing and starts dancing near me. I say, "yeah a bit" and proceed to ignore her and turn my body and my whole line of vision away from her. She continues to try to make conversation; I answer politely but abruptly. She continues dance a bit next to me, looking longingly at the dance floor as if she wants to dance. I continue to ignore her and turn away from her. She asks me, "hmmm so are you tired of dancing now?" I say yeah. She stays near me and dances to herself, looking longingly at the dancefloor. My friend who basically threw the party comes and tries to drag us to the dancefloor for one of the last songs, I let go and tell them to go ahead. The girl I brought with me shakes her head and comes back to stand next to me and dance near me. I spot a girl or two who I wanted to dance with, but refuse to out of respect since the girl I brought was right next to me. Like, I would never do something that disrespectful even after having her do it to me.
Damn, I'm writing an essay? lol
She continues to try talking to me, I continue to want none of that. She starts texting, I assume its the guy she was dancing with. We're finally leaving and going back to campus; I open the door for her. Another girl riding waits for me to go in......I motion for her to go ahead and sit in the middle, between me and the girl I brought.
They drop us off...I decide to talk to her for the last 15 seconds of walking to our building. Am polite. Say goodnight. Face turns to hatred as soon as I round the corner. I rage as soon as I get in my bathroom. I rage for a while.
Conclusion: Never again. Lost all interest in this girl. Will never text her again, invite her to anything, or dance with her ever again. I barely see her, but I still say hi to her out of politeness. Brief, monotone hi's. Never try to have a conversation with her, did not sit with her when she said hi and saw me at the College Cafeteria....If she wanted to friendzone me, there were less disrespectful ways to do it. And I would have been perfectly fine with it. But, to disrespect me like that? For some random gangsta-dressed bruh at the club? Please go.
Seriously, you just missed out. It's your loss.
Girl, I go with you to one of the top colleges in the nation. Top twenty. Best in its state, considered a "Small ivy"....Lettuce be cereal, I am more of a catch than any random hooligan in a club. When we went to that haunted house? You were holding on to my arm for dear life. That giant 6 foot 2 guy with his wife asked me to lead the way - after the first minute of him being scared shitless - and like a true man, I rose to the occasion without batting an eye. You didn't hear a single scream from me. Then, later on, we both laughed when that giant 6 foot 2 guy got separated from his wife and he started holding my hand. "ummm...I'm not your wife...you're holding my hand" You missed out.
And let us be more cereal, I am above you in looks. This isn't simply my opinion, my female friend said that she wasn't surprised that you liked me because she could see you having a crush on me because I am above you in terms of attractiveness....She also rated me 7.5-8 in terms of attractiveness. To quote J.Cole, "I got a chick in every class to give a nigga glances". Two of my female friends - both more attractive than you - flirt with me excessively, feel me up, give me long hugs and kisses on the neck. More importantly, the fact that you initiated on me shows that I am more attractive than you. You missed out.
And let us be the cerealest, I did not miss out. You were lowest on my totem pole of girls I had any sort of interest in. You were also significantly less attractive than the girls higher on the list. You were....Monica 3. What does that mean? Monica 1, Monica 2, and Jasmine were above you. Not to mention this new Monica (4?), a grad student is showing interest in me and constantly inviting me to hang out with her and trying to get me into the almost impossible to overload into class that she TAs. A senior in grad school. I'm a Junior in Undergrad. I know of at least two other girls who are roughly your level of attraction, who have initiated on me in their way. Had to reject kissing one of them, outright. You were nothing special. I get checked out a good amount and because I have just recently become muscular from being rail thin Freshman year, I get complimented excessively on how swole I've gotten. I have...for these past two years. I...did not miss out. I am more of a catch than you lol
^And see, this is what you have to do. I don't know if anyone's reading this as I'm venting alot of words and rambling, but when a girl "leaves you for another guy" in any medium, you have to have this talk with yourself. You have to tell yourself - and believe it - that she's missing out by not being with you and then banish communication with her and move on to the next one or just continue to focus on important things like your goals, your friends/family, and yourself. Disregard her from your thoughts and life.

Fighting him will not solve anything wait scratch that, it will help you relive some stress but it won't bring her back, plus if you fought him now you'd be fighting him for the simple fact that she's with him and not because he was disrespectful. That being said the best thing you could do to get her back at her is mess with her mentally like dating someone she hates or something because this can also be the test to see where her true feelings for you lie, but I sincerely doubt she doesn't love you anymore but more so she was trying to convince herself and her temp bf that she doesn't.
