Any Linkin Park fans?

Because,to be honest,I am sick of the ignorant YT comments,"LP is GAY","ThERE MUSIC SUCKZ BAWLZ" (i KNOW i used the wrong type of "there").Or "They suck now"......

I mean (the following is ranting...so just skip it):

1. Please look up the definition of gay and come back when you're not some juvenile ignorant idiot.Even if they were gay,WTF does that have to do with anything?

2.It's one thing if you don't like that type of music,or even their music,and you do have a right to your opinion....but don't state it as some sort of fact,as it is your opinion and holds no weight.Not only that,but just because you don't appreciate the music doesn't mean that other people don't...again,it's your opinion and holds no weight...

3.Just because they mix things up doesn't mean that they have changed....I know,variety is bad...let's keep things the same as they always are....because I hate change.

But whatever,I notice that a lot of these people haven't really heard a LP song before (or they just listen to 1 or 2 songs),or they just come with a bias....I mean,it's one thing to have an opinion,or just not like their music,but it's another to state your opinion as if it has any weight.It's not some sort of fact,and just because you don't like it doesn't mean others do not..you have a right to your opinion,but don't treat it as if it has any weight.It's an opinion.

(Guess I just also need to keep that in mind,as well)

Also.If you just don't like their music or anything or you just like and prefer a specific album to others,that is fine.....I don't want to seem too....hostile.

honestly I credit Linkin Park for me being an anime fan

I didn't mind their change. I was a huge fan when I was younger. Not trying to say that everyone "grows" out of them, but that's how it worked for me. I listened to them for a certain time when I was younger, then I kinda moved out of them. I won't deny they have talent.

Infact, I actually like their newer music. Don't know why people hate it. They moved out of their depressing stage to me, and are moving on to upbeat music. Fine by me.

I like them, although I prefer most of their older songs. Also, they are featured in all the best AMVs.

Um I used to like them or should I say I like some of there older songs. But I have not listened to anything new from them.

I like rock/metal music so if they have gone all "dance" music or anything then I probably will not enjoy them.

They made a song and it went something like "god bless everyone living under the gun" or something like that. And I just did not like the song really because it was not as good as their other ones.

Oh and I am blabbing on ah well :).

Well,I can understand if some people like the tone of their older songs,but other people just assume this ignorant and bias notion that suddenly they completely changed into a Boy Band or something (no offense to anyone that likes BB,just that I don't really like them,and I don't mean any disrespect.I am just trying to give an example of them completely changing) so they hear all of their new songs with some type of bias.Don't they change things up or something like that.....

haven't listened to them after minutes to midnight . not because i think they suck , i just grew other interests . Linkin Park was real big when i was in high school and was always excited to see the newest music video .

@cameron83: That's far from true. I mean, personally? I think their newer stuff is alot better. This is my favorite song by them, and it's one of their "newer" songs.

And it definitely nods toward their old songs as well.

Middle school KnightRise loved Linkin Park! Like others have said, they were among my first introductions to rock music (to think I used to call them heavy....compared to what I listen to now that's sadly humorous). I really like Meteora and Hybrid Theory. Minutes to Midnight was ok, the rest were uninspiring.

In the end, it doesn't really matter.

Ok they are a lot less hard core, and a lot less screaming from Chester but hey its still pretty cool ;)

Chester just have a very gifted voice and the music from them is always awesome.

(P.S. to me Metallica is always better though :p )

I listen to their old songs, don't much like the new stuff they're pushing out. But even though i don't like it, it's good for them they're trying something new :)

I used to be a big Linkin Park fan back in the day, and I still enjoy listening to their old stuff every now and again, I suppose because of nostalgic purposes. I haven't really listened to any of their new stuff; I feel like I outgrew them at some point.

I used to be one awhile back. They fell off after they made that album with Jay though.

I love most of their old songs but I just hate the new songs.

I don't have a problem with Linkin Park. I have a problem with Fort Minor ;P

Dude. I don't even care that I know the lyrics to that whole song. They were always on the radio. They weren't bad either. Had like, the biggest cruch Victoria Beckham. She still looks damn good.

YES! Easily one of my favourite bands! Their newest stuff isn't equal to their earliest albums but I still very much enjoy it nonetheless!
