Any deer hunters in here?

Does anybody else on here go deer hunting? Today is the second day of deer hunting season here in Wisconsin but I'm not out there because of freezing rain! I went out yesterday for about 9 hours but didn't even see a single deer. Still got 7 more days left in the season though, hopefully I can get a buck this year. If you're a deer hunter, what kinda gun do you like to use and have you shot a deer yet this year? I use a .30/06 pump action.

I think people should only get to shoot deer when there's an ecological need for population control. 
 
Otherwise, you should be limited to weapons invented before 1100.

Hey any of you hunters in the Northern parts of the US. Remember this: Even if you...no-no, scratch that, especially if you've had a bit too drink,
count the legs. if it has two not four don't shoot it by "accident ". Not everyone wears blaze orange during the season!
