Concentrating on typing on my laptop, I didn't notice my cat Max had wandered into the room and jumped onto my ersatz drawing table. Max likes to get on the table once in awhile and "fish" underneath the drawing board, looking for pencils, pens and markers which might be there so he can scoot them around. He also LOVES my eraser. If I leave it on the table and don't put it in a storage container, he will jump up, grab it with his teeth, plop back on the floor and then "chase" it by scooting it across the floor.

This time, however, he was just watching me. I turned around and there he was, his head propped on the drawing board. He was watching me and started to doze off, so I grabbed my digital camera and took a few pics. Here are the results.

@ARMIV2: Thanks man! Hate to hear you don't have your cat. I know it can be rough without your pet. At least you have other cats to keep you company.

It is odd how I even have one, wasn't a cat person growing up until my youngest brother found one and brought it home. I love dogs and cats and wished I could have both where I live, but alas, the complex doesn't allow it.

My cat is a bit of an a**hole, though, he only likes certain people. He is friendly to some but he's rather selective. Kind of funny.

Cats are little divas, but I love 'em anyway. Sucks that you can't have a dog too.

Cats and dogs together make for great company.

@ARMIV2: Yes you're right! Yup, do wish I could have both but alas, it is what it is.

@thespideyguy: I hear you! I love most breeds of dogs as well. Max is quite entertaining to say the least. Thanks!

@Referee: That's...interesting! Ha!

@Selinaky: Thanks! His coat may be gray but when you look closely, you can see a number of markings that really make it look cool. I appreciate your kind comments.
