Amy Winehouse joins the Forever 27

It's sort of eerie. So many famous singers die young at the age of 27. I this poster in my room. I wonder if Amy will be added to later on printings of it.

yeah it is weird, is it really just a coincidence?

I guess she was good, but not up to caliber of Hendrix, Cobain, Morrison, Joplin etc.

Purely coincidence.  The only thing coincidental and common about their deaths were the manner in which they came.  Either it was by some depressive mood or from drug use, which unfortunately ails just about any musician out there.  Some just handle addictions and problems better.  The fact that they died at 27 means nothing.  Just means they made serious mistakes in their youth that forced them to pay the ultimate price.

Amy choosen capoeira as her rehab recreation. That was a wrong choice. Capoeira is an excellent sport, I like it too, but there's no way to be a capoeirista and do not have a lot of parties. RIP girl. Never liked her, nor her music.... but it's sad that she's gone so young.

"Death by misadventure" sounds fun....

Wasn't surprised in the least by the news, although my mother was upset (not as upset as she was when Brittany Murphy died though).

This is a strange coincidence.

She was really pretty before she got into all the drugs and booze. She lost so much weight :(

I'm guessing that at age 27, the human body has lost most of its ability to recover from being used like a high school chemistry set.

As for Amy Winehouse's death, it's unfortunate but I was never a fan of hers anyway.
