Why do people riot over a person's death? They don't really care about that person. If there was a riot for every death in America, it would be a everlasting nightmare.
@eternalparadox: Sometimes it's when a death is due to a bigger subject and people riot to protest against it and encourage change, because hurting people and their things is a good way to show the goverment that it's wrong to hurt people and their things. Other times people just look for an excuse to hurt people and their things.

Does anybody think as I do?
For some it's an excuse for thievery and vandalism. For others, that death is symbolic of similar problems they may face. Whatever the reason it's not an excuse. Peaceful protest is a great way to address injustices, riots and looting are not.
