i'm curious... what do you think is better for showing off products, alternative models or plain models?

the place i work at recently had girls and guys model the shirts. only one girl had no tattoos, and was a minority in the bunch. what do you guys think? alternative people should model alternative stuff?

anyways.
heres one of the plain ones:

and heres one of the alternative ones:

what do you guys think. would this have any impact on which one you would prefer? do tattooed people make alternative products look better?

It depends on the product. Models are basically glorified clothes hangers. I like both but it depends on the situation, I suppose.

I think the product should speak for itself and not have to depend on the model.

Usually I would say alternative, because I dont know many people who are "plain", and if someone who has their own sense of identity can look comfortable wearing something, then maybe it is a brand that is less...posh I suppose...

The other folks above me have good points as well...
