Truth is I keep forgetting the world is supposed to end, who even keeps track of what the date is? I think people cared more about this thing years ago (like 90's to a couple years ago) but nobody actually cares now. At this point there's nothing to feed the hysteria because there's no signs of anything.

I don't think anyone will act any differently. Sure, a lot of people will probably commit suicide but that's called Christmas.

What time is the world supposed to end tomorrow? I have a haircut tomorrow and it'd be a shame to miss it.

@INLIFE: C'mon mate seriously? No reason to live? There is literally no reason for negativity like that nor should you be wishing upon such things to befall humanity or anyone in particular, especially yourself. Sure, some bad things happen in life, but we become stronger because of them. You can't just beat yourself up and so willingly wish for the worst. There is always something to live for, perhaps one of the reasons being to get a girlfriend as you mentioned in your post, to spend Christmas with family and/or friends, or many of the other joys life can provide. You should look forward to living your life, to experiencing everything it can offer because honestly, it can and will surprise you.

Since the Mayan Calendar actually ended in October (Cause Mayans didn't have leap years) the whole point is actually moot.

I'm currently at work (I work in a Emergency Department) and so far we've gotten about a dozen people coming in anxiety and suicide attempt because they really do believe that the end of the world is happening today. Do I believe in it? heck no lol but many do.

Not surprised really to hear this. While many of us find this to be stupid, a lot of people for some reason believe in this.

@Spawn: yes really, not that surpising like ComicMan said, a lot of people have some sort of reason to believe this or they are just very axious people and are having anxiety attacks because of this.
