8 Best Assassins?

This is a thread i thought would be interesting because of the upcoming release of Arkham origins.

Answer 1- List your 8 favorite/ most powerful assassins from the marvel or dc.

Answer 2- Who would you pick to be the 8 assassins (only DC) for Arkham Origins?

Answer 3- Who do you think is the eighth assassin in Arkham Origins?

The confirmed assassins are:

1) Deathstroke

2) Deadshot

3) Bane

4) Firefly

5) Lady Shiva

6) Electrocutioner

7) Copperhead

• 2. Pasquale "The Plague" Acosta or Lazlo Soot
• 3-8. Doesn't matter. They'd be dead before we finished ranking them.

Answer 3:

Forgot who they have and haven't revealed as of yet, but I'd guess it might be Magpie? Unless Croc is one. I thought they were: Croc, Shiva, Electrocutioner, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Firefly, Copperhead, and Bane?

The last two Assassins have already being revealed.

1. In order: Deathstroke - Bane - Deadshot - Bullseye - Bronze Tiger - Lobo - Talia al Ghul - Cheshire

2. Sam as 1. Minus Lobo & Bullseye Add Clayface & Scarecrow.

3. I think it's probably Talia.

First question in no particular order:

1. Talons (I'm counting them as one entity)
2. Deadshot
3. Deathstroke
4. Chesire

6. Tommy Jagger (Not an assassin per se, but he is an agent and has beaten Bane in a fight so that wins him a spot)
7. Komodo
8. Nobody (Again not really an assassin but he definitely could have been before Damian went all Hand of Death on him)

As to your second question, pretty much who's on the above list except Bane instead of Tommy Jagger.

To your third question, I have no clue. I know 5 assassins and am trying to avoid having the final three spoiled to me.

It's only DC assassins.

@rogueshadow: yeah it is. I just don't see him being an assassin. IMO calendar man would be better. Croc was supposedly confirmed as one of the most wanted but maybe i misread.

Edit: by calendar man i don't only mean him cause i can think of a few others that would be better too I'm just too tired to name them right now.

I think I'm one of the few who actually quite likes Calender man.

Yeah I thought he was just a general villain like Penguin, not an assassin, I hope it's not true, I was hoping for Talia [And therefore the league] or Bronze Tiger.

I agree. I would like to know how he ended up looking like a giant croc though. I mean I know he has a skin disease but I hope they explain.

I personally don't mind. I am quite pleased to see him come back again.

@mrdecepticonleader: I'm glad to see him back too but i just don't see him as an assassin at all @rogueshadow: i like calendar man too. Sort of a classic/ original villain IMO.

@deathstroke19: He's just so... Out there. it's kind of funny to see him cause trouble, it would be cool if he became a really major villain in a series and everyone was like - wtf?

@rogueshadow: lol yeah that would be hilarious. But wait after killer crocs name it says career criminal. All the others it says assassin. Could it be that that was just a screenshot of one of the character that are going to be in the game and not an assassin?

@mitran: look under his name it says career criminal so its possible that the video is wrong and the maker of the video misinterpreted it.

It may well be. I mean they all usually get bios in the Arkham games so that might be his generic bio...? I hope so, I'd like to see Scarecrow since all of the current assassins are more physical, though Copperhead will be cool with her poison.

I'm just really hoping it's somebody else.

@mitran: I doubt it cause i guess this game is taking place when Grayson is robin. And that means that Grayson becomes nightwing by the end of this game Jason todd becomes red hood after aa so that tim drake can come in during ac

@rogueshadow: same here. I will keep my fingers crossed for croc to still be in but a different assassin.

@mitran: yeah bronze tiger seems to be a fav. around here. Also I'm not saying its impossible for it to be red hood but in the multiplayer its batman and dick (Grayson) vs 3 vs 3. So I'm just speculating.

@mrdecepticonleader: sadly he probably is I'm just still hoping its Talia so that explains how Bruce and her knew each other in Arkham city and to make the connection between "the detective" and the league.

I am alright with that, makes sense to me. Eh I think it would be too early to introduce Talia at this point.

They were my exact thoughts. One aspect of Batman that I liked was how he always seemed to be weighed down simultaneously by a dozen different problems in the space of a week, it makes him seem more human. Plus I just want to see those links forged.

Yeah makes sense to me, him being a hitman. Id imagine he would be quite feared amongst the underworld too.

@rogueshadow: Exactly. The game creators even said that this is suppose to connect the dots, create the links, forge friendships and enemies, and develop the characters of arkham verse.

@deathstroke19: A really cool idea I just had would be to have Green Arrow masquerading as an assassin to get to Batman for some reason, maybe just to meet a fellow crime fighter or to unravel a plot since he was hinted at in the Deathstroke trailer, then they could expand the Universe to other properties, and given the growing popularity of GA, the rumours f how the next rocksteady game will include other heroes, they may do that. The chances are still slim though. But that would be my absolute optimal choice.

Killer Croc just seems so tangential to the world, and I always see him as fodder too, unless he's in a scary dank & dark sequence, that could be petty cool, but as an Assassin? Meh

@rogueshadow: Wait maybe killer croc is someone working with the joker (or is a competitor) cause remember at the beginning of arkham asylum when you first see killer croc and before jones is even revealed the joker says something like "croc o' boy is that you?" Hinting that he knows him

@rogueshadow: in the Who's excited for Arkham Origins thread i said how in an interview with eric (i forget his last name) it was confirmed that Oliver will NOT be in Arkham Origins. I don't have the link at the moment but its true

I would imagine Joker knows who he is anyway. But I watched the demo the other day. And it seems Bane is working with Joker.
