Honestly they are the cleveland browns of the hockey league. Where the managers make stupid decisions and sparingly use money to gain better players, which the leafs could easily do their monetary intake is ridiculous.

@rouflex: Believe it or not the Toronto Maple leafts were named so to honor a WW1 canadian regiment.

Leafs will always suck. They make the most money out of every franchise in the NHL so why would anything be spent on bringing in real talent? It's a joke. And asking fans to stay away as a tactic to get things changed will never work because the majority of lower bowl seating are season tickets that belong to corporations. Half of them are empty on any given regular game. The Leafs aren't a team for hockey fans. Not anymore.

I can't remember the last time I was exclusive to one team, fan-wise. Flat out, the Black Hawks should have gone forward. Rangers are my choice just because they have the heart. I don't get heart from the Kings. I doubt there will be a rise in skates being sold in LA if they won the Stanley Cup.

It's been a while since the Toronto Maple Leafs was any good... I remember when they had Mats Sundin that Big Swedish Dude.

We don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. When Sundin was traded out, everyone was like, good riddance, yet he's been the last real captain the Leafs have had since. At least he played like he cared what the fans in the nosebleeds thought of him.

Hockey is a heart breaking game to most Canadians. To this one, anyway.

@hislolita: Lol nice, my roommate was a crazy rangers fan. I was always worried he would have a heart attack because of how much he got into the game. I usually left the room and left him with his second girlfriend haha.

@eisenfauste: I am one of the people who in the throes of fanatical passion while watching the game, somehow believes that screaming and covering my eyes will make THE difference in its outcome. You don't want to be around me when it comes to soccer. The recent Champion League's final had me hurling things, and I do think one of them was a human being. I'm the chick people want to hurl out the window. And it's almost happened a few times, compliments of my family so I need to work on it, haha.

@hislolita: Lol yeah he would just scream at the T.V. and I would be trying to study so I would just leave the room because there is no way he was going to shut up. He also may or may not of had a decent amount of Jack in him or bourbon prior to watching these games lol.

I know how passionate soccer fans can be, have you seen the riots that occur ;). I am more of a fan that enjoys to watch but remains emotionally uninvested in the game.
