People say Wayne is overrated but so is Pac.If I had to make a list of the best rappers from my perspective the only way Pac would even be on it is if I went to like 35-50.Also I listen to more Wayne than Pac.I don't feel Pac..at all.Tupac to me was a greater PERSON than he was a rapper.He said real sh#t outside of the music that needed to be said.

You guys are all so wrong. The best is "Best Rap Album" that I bought from the Chinese CD bootlegger from the Flinders street downtown... It say's so in the poorly printed cover. Nyehehehehe! So many f*cking goodies like Ice Ice Baby and John Cena's theme song.... I want my 2 dollars back!!!!!

In all my years listening to Hip-Hop I still say Biggie was the better rapper. But I'll compile a list including tupac showing you where he should be (keep in mind this is my opinion)    14. Tupac 13. Kool G Rap12. Kool Moe Dee11. Slick Rick 10. Chuck D09. Melle mel08. Big Daddy Kane07. Ice Cube06.  Big L 05. Nas04. Big Pun03. KRS-ONE02. Notorious B.I.G01. Rakim  The reason why Tupac is all the way back there is because I also counted influence and what they contributed to the genre AS WELL AS actual ability. Sure, Tupac had a large effect but I still stick to saying he wasn't the best rapper. Now, from 14-6 there's not much between the artists.

Em can't compare in my opinion, Eazy may have had talent but Ice Cube is more deserving. Eazy takes 15, em more about 30 and Tupac is 14 because he wasn't really a rapper. He was a poet, and he was great as a poet. There is no way when talking about greatest rappers that Rakim is not first or at least just beaten for first. If he's not in your top 3 then there must be something wrong with you.

Both are overrated imo, but no one rapper is the best because it's all a matter of opinion and personal preferences.

Tupac was damn good but his popularity was helped by his death. Now we all have to wait for Macho Man's album to be the top album of all time.

Lil Wayne is really talented, but Tupac is a legend, the best ever(though I often feel that we only see him that way because we over glamorize people after they pass making it hard for someone alive to compare).

Never heard of Planet Asia and Vinnie Paz. Cassidy isnt as good as he used to be, after that Body Bag song he had(which he killed) i havent really heard to much that really had me sayin "wow" from the dude. Nas  will always be nice, but i liked him better in the 90's when he murdered all of those jazzy beats, he made hiphop with illmatic man. Joe budden should've definitely been on this list, the way he raps about his inner conflict really blows my mind, and he always has a sick beat to go along with it. Havent listen to canibus since he slaughter the hell outta LL, Talib Kweli i never really got into him and the same for MF doom.
