While it's true that Destiny was Mystique's true love, I wondered why she didn't join her in the after life. Personally, I think that Mystique's real desire is to be loved by someone who cares about her. And the person who comes close to that was Iceman.

I'm less concerned about how many partners she's had, more concerned about Mystique's impregnation as a plot device.
