Watch This Awesome 'Mortal Kombat X' Trailer

Mortal Kombat fans, get ready for a whole lot of awesome. The latest trailer for NetherRealm Studios' upcoming game shows a ton of brutal action and gives us a good look at Kitana and Kung Lao. As expected, it also teases new X-Ray moves and fatalities and continues to give other combatants a little bit of the spotlight as well. And, in case you haven't heard by now, the trailer concludes by reminding us Goro is a pre-order character. It really shouldn't need to be said, but we're going to remind you this is a Mortal Kombat video, so yeah, things get pretty bloody.

Mortal Kombat X goes on sale April 14 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The comic series' first physical copy goes on sale today and the first two chapters are also available digitally (they're released every Sunday). Show of hands: Who else is going to buy this game? Are you going to pre-order it to get Goro?

I'm definitely pre-ordering this. And now that you mention it Gregg, it really does remind me of The Raid 2, haha. It also reminds me of a fight scene in Ip Man where he does a similar thing to one guy.

Nice, might have to consider actually getting a more up to date Graphics Card just for this and Arkham Knight. Also, Goro as a pre-order bonus? Ugh, not that I hate Goro but I just dislike pre-order bonuses, if they're already made then you have no reason to not include it in the finished product, though then again I'll probably just wait for a more affordable Komplete Edition after a some time.

I was going so well until '' Pre-order to play as Goro ''.... Come on MK. You are better than that. Your game is already quality, you don't need to cut characters and put them into Pre-order..

@wowlock: It's sad that nowadays most mainstream videogames need to have preorder bonuses, but if the last MK and Injustice are any indication they will at least make Goro available after the game comes out.

they actually did one back in the early 2000s but you could only play two characters, but I guess it didn't sell well cause they never did it again. fighting games get boring to me real quick (played injustice for 3 days), all you are doing is punching. I want to DO something, explore the world, talk to people, do missions etc.

@ghostpiratex: Eh?? They look real, not sure what you're looking at. Raiden's face is very stiff looking but then he's a God supposed to look like that...Kitana, D'vorah, Sub, Scorp etc don't look anything like dummies...

@perfect_10: I'd also recommend MK Shaolin Monks, very good game you explore the realms takes place during MK 2 time. So you liked the MK D and MKA konquest modes a lot huh?

KL has aged, he's older has grey hair, facial hair and a ponytail. He fights like a younger guy though, thinking either Quan-Chi brought him back and Kitana then both at some point got freed from his control or the Elder Gods had something to do with it I bet. For Cage, there was a rumor that someone at one of the gaming events from NRS leaked that Cage is in the game...supposedly

I never played it, didn't have a system at the time and not into dudes. i only played two mortal kombat games. whatever was out around 94, im guessing mortal kombat 2? and i think apocalypse, whichever one you could create your own character. kitana is of course my favorite but also like Sonia, sindel, milena and jade. if they can make a multiplayer rpg with those as playable characters: TAKE ALL MY MONEY
