Why is there so much THOR hype?

Everywhere I go, people are talking about THOR, THOR, THOR. Its so random how THOR is getting so much hype.

i'm clueless.

The Dark World is coming out this week.

I don't see any....

I mean,sure on Tumblr,but those are the same people that worship Whedon and know nothing much about comics besides what they see on the movies,so.....

I've been hearing from people that its good and it does look GOOD! As for the hype...I haven't seen any drifting around the forums or anywhere..

It seems pretty natural to me for a movie which in some countries has been released or in others is imminent to have a degree of hype surrounding it. Also, in my opinion at least, the movie was really good.

i saw it lastnight online.... copy was bad and the guy didnt get the full ending ( wtf dude seriously?) but overall i really enjoyed it and it did give fans what they wanted from the first one. oh yea no spoilers but there are some very interesting twists in the movie. i have to say i liked it more than ironman 3 ( wich i hated)

Loki fan girls making the hype? Idk haven't heard any hype.

believe it or not loki shows up later on in the film.. i say see the film and you will see why i say that. im no female but people are blowing lokis role way out of proportion and what i mean by that is the film isnt just 100% loki like people make it out to be. i found it to be a very good balance between there are some awesome moments where you yell holy shit wich involves another charachter ( wont say who) but fans will get a kick out of it. the only real flaw of the film was the villain was indeed under used so i dont know if that was joss changing shit up or what but overall still a worthy movie to have fun with. the fight scenes are amazing

people though since joss shot more scenes with loki it would be all about him in a sense its sort of true since the elves and malicef were totaly under used but its not like the film itself is 100% pro loki. i will say though i did get a huge enjoyment of the little jabs between he and thor with the whole brotherly interactions. i did like one specific fight scene very much and im suprised it worked

Thor 2's hype wheel's been...kinda dead.

Whatever hype Thor is getting is due to the imminent release of "Thor 2."
