What do you want to see happen in Thor?

Same, which had me worried because I have trouble seeing how he can continue to fight and can't help but think he'll be handicapped in some way. I guess this could be some "interesting" trouble for Thor to go through but I think the possibility of having Jane Foster die will be a bigger loss for Thor than losing his hand.

If Thor does lose his hand, I hope he can just regrow it or have it healed.

I think it will do good for the movie if Jane dies really, I mean the relationship feels a little forced to me. I believe Thor can be more interesting with him and Sif being together. Then if they have a Thor 3 maybe they(Thor and Sif) can team up against Enchantress and Skurge. Anyway I still don't think Thor should lose his hand it will be a little to much and will downgrade Thor's performance in other films (unless he just regrows it back, but that would be a waste of film time).I say kill off a couple characters if you want to make it darker don't cut off Thor's precious "hammer hand"

ALL OF THE ABOVE! Honestly, I just want to see more of Asgard and the other realms. I want to see Marvel establish the live-action mythology of Thor's world.

I've always been more of a DC fan that Marvel. I don't care what happens in this, but I will go and watch it. Whether your a massive fan of a character or not, comic films are always fun.

This most of all for me too.

I just want to see Sif given more screen time.

And a Surtur tease wouldn't hurt either.

During SDCC, The Dark World footage shown a scene were Thor's hand was apparently cut.

I'd love to see a Beta Ray Bill and Thor team-up story arc. I feel the whole Surtur story has been run through too many times lately. Thor losing his hand is not that much of a big deal to me, only if he heals back or gets a Destroyer-style hand instead like the all-father Thor has (arm).

Jane Frost/Sif dying is a scenario run through far too much where the hero loses his love for a time being.

Beta Ray Bill, definitely. I actually like him more than Thor.

Really? You're going for something as shallow as this? So even if Thor acts out of character, you'll be fine with him having high end feats? He was plenty powerful in Thor and Avengers and I fail to see why one shotting Frost Giants and their monsters, defeating the Destroyer, taking out a large fleet of Chitauri and being the only Avenger to fight evenly with the Hulk makes him weak in any way. They tone down the power levels in films anyway otherwise the challenges wouldn't be as great. Finally, for the record, Thor has never shown any good combat speed feats whatsoever. Putting them in would be an unreliable representation of Thor's powers.

Nope you're still wrong. Thor's never shown consistent speed feats. Lvenger is absolutely right you know? Thor just has been consistently portrayed as slow by Marvel for some reason. You were mad earlier today that Wolverine moved faster than Thor, but other street levelers have done it to him before consistently. It annoys me as a big Thor fan, but it's true.

@wolverine08: Take my word for it, this particular Thor fan isn't going to be convinced by either of our points unfortunately. She does rely on the more classic or out of context feats for Thor's supposed speed and those ones have been debunked on debating forums.

@tdk_1997: oh yeah, surtur's appearance would be great. They could have him team up with Thanos in the future. another choice is an after credits scene of the masters of evil gathering. I also think Hela would be cool too. If they could also have Loki die then be reborn into Kid Loki, that'd be great too

Eh, in a comic that sounds cool but in a movie it won't work as well and can be unnecessary.
