What do you think?
I prefer Marvel to DC but its an emotional tie.
I just don't see myself buying another new batman comic. I just don't see it. I would never get any of the other Dc comics either. I'm intrigued by Shazam, but doesn't he morph from a kid or something? pretty weak.
DC is definitely more consistent with power levels and character behavior. I just feel their stories and characters have run their course. Marvel on the other hand is maddeningly frustrating with their inconsistent power levels and character behavior. It's so weak.
Well being a totally unbiased reader of both, I think just now its a close call. Marvel has some great titles out there, perhaps more than DC (for me). I love Thor GOTY, Indescructible Hulk is brilliant and Inifinity is looking very cool. That said, Superman Unchained is shaping up to be one of the best DC comics for years and personally I love Flash new 52. Batman/Superman is also way out there and with beautiful artwork. I cant understand people who align themselves so strongly with one or t'other. Chill out and enjoy the best of both.
@guardian_of_gravity: I agree, I have the DC and the marvel and the comics x apps on my iPad and probably buy as much marvel as DC and the occasional Dark horse comic, which reminds me must try to find the end to pushing Daisy's, trust the USA to make a series I discover on DVD rush to buy the second series and then discover it was cancelled years ago... I hear they finished it in comic form though so off to hunt... So maybe whoever produced that gets my vote, you know live in the moment ;)
Edit: Ok looked like DC was going to win my vote, found issue one of pushing Daisy's then looked to Wikipedia to see why no more are available and DC shut down Wildstorm killing it, so nope DC go bottom now, mostly due to the fact I hate unresolved cliffhangers. So close DC oh well your own fault for not finishing Bryan Fullers series 3 comics...
While I do prefer Marvel, my honest opinion is that you can't truly compare the two. Sure, they're both comic book publishers who focus on superheroes, but the do it in such different way that you can't really compare them. They're both fantastic in different ways and for different reasons. It's really up to the individual to decide which one they prefer. It's like comparing Apples to Oranges.
