Thor! part of my heritige goes all the way back the vikings so may as well place my self as the viking god of thunder. Besides he's my favortie marvel super hero anyways hercules is still cool though and trust me Thor could get all the women to if he wanted to do that.
These two are very similar, but Hercules has way more fun smiting villains, brawling, partying and picking up chicks. Thor is very cool, but much to dignified and serious to be as much fun as Herc.
Also, as an Olympian, Herc has stopped aging and will never get old or die of natural causes. Thor, as an Asgardian, does age (albeit) extremely slowly and will get old. Great examples of the difference in the aging process between the two pantheon are Zeus- still relativley young in appearance with no gray hair, and Odin - quite old in appearance with white hair and some thickening around the midsection that is common for middle-aged and old men.
@Kid_Omega_Prime: Nether I would Pick Captian Marvel because he has the best of both worlds. Hercules $ucks and Thor is a dork and im probliy going to get a lot of hate mail for saying that. The better topic should be If you can pick a superheroe who would it be? and why? But that my opinion.
@bart_scanlan: He would beat Herc, but Thor? I don't think so as long as he doesn't brawl like and idiot and uses his powers he'll beat any incarnation of Hulk. Also as long as Hulk doesn't get his share of PIS to beat opponents like Thor or Gladiator

Hulk is on the same level of Thor, there is no PIS in their battles. 30+ fights against each other prove that.
@teh_pwnerer: in terms of strength hulk is on the same level as Thor. Yes. But if Thor didn't brawl and used all his powers he should win every time. But he doesn't do that all the time.
