can magneto stop a point blank shot?

Can magneto stop a point plank bullet to the head like in First Class (which he never did)?

He can keep it from ever exiting the chamber.

He wouldn't need to stop it. A force field would be around him.

Why would you try to shoot Magneto in the head point blank? Have you seen the size of his helmet?

@aquaman01: we don't know what movie version was trying g to do.

If he had a 1 mm force field from his skin up, that is different than controlling a bullet the moment it exits a chamber, which I doubt he could.

Well he does have a magnetic field around him. i think he could.

If he knows it's about to be shot he can stop the bullet before it leaves the gun

I don't think we had seen Magneto have a a force field in the Marvel movies. Correct me if I am wrong. So I don't see how else he was gonna stop the bullet.

We still didn't see the feat so I don't know how movie magnetos not doing a feat translates to comic magneto doing the feat.
