Poll: Would you read a Lois Lane book? (40 votes)

Yes 73%
No 28%

Dido has hinted at a Lois book with quote,

But it's not at the expense of Lois Lane, we love Lois. It's her 75th Anniversary, too. We have big plans for Lois Lane in 2014, and who knows, her name can look just as good on the title of a comic as Supermans, can't it?"

So would you read it?

it would need the right writer. and the only two people i deem worthy are Mark Waid and Grant Morrison.....or myself....so thats three people...

Would I read it? Yes

Would I buy it? Doubtful until it gets lowered in price.

Comics are expensive and it would be hard for me to justify to myself to get. There are already many I wish I could add to my pull list but have to rely on reading a friends copy.

why not?

I just wouldn't be interested.. Like I would read it if I had no time on my hands, but I don't know. It's not a title that I'd be like "oh, I'm going to buy that title right away".

But his post probably fits my bill more though. ^

So I should probably say as of the moment, no but I will read it eventually.

This goes in the Lois Lane forum.

And yes, if she was handled well, I absolutely would.

@mercy_: I put it in the Superman forum because there is more traffic or viewship in that forum.

@darkman61288: Yeah, but it's about Lois Lane, so it goes in her forum :)

They should have had a Lois book for years now. She's one of their most well known characters.

The Lois lot of fans and I have no doubt that the comic will be a success.

Depends on the premise of the book.

Depends on the premise of the book.

This depends on the writer.I want the writer of the comic book was Grant Morrison.

Not really interested in the character. She seems pretty generic, even though she is likable. I would read it if it was under 1$... and I had no other comics available for a long time. So no.

Lois Lane with Superpowers. No. A very emphatic NO.

The investigative reporter, troop embedded, conspiracy uncovering, up-in-yo-face-ing Lois Lane that continually pisses off and disobeys people in authority that we all know and love....

#21 Posted by longbowhunter (7076 posts) - - Show Bio

Absolutely! Put Rocafort on that book, team Lois with Jimmy and make it a investigative journalism comic and I'd be all over it.

No. I would probably borrow an issue from a friend, or flip through an issue in a shop, and be bored to tears. Unless it was handled like that one Jimmy Olsen story I forget the name of... the one where he investigates CADMUS and the original Guardian, finds out about the clones and stuff? If it were like that, I still wouldn't buy the title, but I would at least not be bored out of my mind by it.
