It gets worse when you consider that they're comic characters and there appearance depends on artist depiction. MM often looks like a muscular green dude who other than his color doesn't look worse than Batman or Superman

@fodigg: Well, cos Stargirl is one of my favourite character and I'm thrilled that she is back and not in comicbook limbo (surprisingly no one made a big fuss that Courtney is missing but everyone cried for that lame stephanie brown).
And I think giving her a high profile relationship on the team would make elevate both her and the other guy's status.
I mean Green Arrow and Black Canary had a really high profile relationship and wedding, I hope the same could be done for Stargirl (and green arrow)
I didn't complain about any of the JSA cuts because I assumed they'd be in Earth 2.
Legacy characters like Jade, Enchantress, Stargirl, Wildcat #2 are all considered to be in the Limbo since there is no way a 20+ year old man can have a child that is of the same age.
True, but they could be introduced as standalone characters.
But until Stargirl's appearance in JLA, she was pretty much considered in the limbo tgt with legacy characters.

I'm hardly arguing against that. I'm just saying this wasn't the only way to introduce the character.
It's either a boyfriend or superheroics, not both. She still has homework, school, if she's 17 she needs to get college entrance papers done. Not to mention a job too.

Seriously though I was mostly speculating on why the OP might find MM ugly and since the only real facial difference between MM and any other hero is skin and eye color and lack of hair I figured that's what the ugly thing was about. Personally I always thought MM looked badass when he was wearing a shirt instead of just the harness
Never, ever in any multiverse should Stargirl and Green Arrow date. I'd say Captain Marvel, but if she's 17 and he's at oldest 13 it'd never happen. Vibe, ah no. It'd be too predictable(though Dc seems to have no problem with predictability *cough* Wonder Woman and Superman *Cough*) that the only two teenagers on the team would date. Perhaps some one who isn't a superhero, a new character. Still a relationship doesn't make a character interesting, good writing does. I like the idea of Blue Beetle and Stargirl though(They teamed up on B:TBATB).
Am I the only one who thinks that they all look like some kind of sex gang? 2 shirtless guys and hot girls and the rest are wearing skin tight costumes(except for steve)

Yeah! I predict she will end up dating Vibe, at least for a while, just because they're close in age. Well, Vibe's also getting somewhat of a push from out of comicbook limbo, and his solo title, despite its impending cancellation is quite good. But he seems to have fallen head over heels for the new Gypsy in that title. However, if Courtney tried to flirt with him, any man would forget Gypsy. I mean this is Stargirl, just look at her! While I say this, If she's seventeen, she'd less than a year from legal adulthood. If another member of the team wanted to be in a meaningful relationship with her, couldn't they wait the ten or however many months for... After adulthood is reached no one really should have an issue with this if it's a meaningful relationship. It's not like someone's taking a trophy wife or marrying an old guy to inherit his fortune when he dies. I do not however mean to imply that one must be in a meaningful relationship to get their needs met. However, many folks, such as myself choose not to go near the sluts and whores. If anyone is offended by anything I have said in this post, I apologize. I have trouble expressing myself appropriately on controversial topics.
