So Johns has stated that someone wille die from either Justice League or Justice League America during Trinity War. Why do I have a feeling Aquaman is going to kill Hawkman, or Hawkman kills Aquaman? Any guesses.
who dies in Trinity War??
@jamdamage: There's a rumour going around that Shazam/Captain Marvel might be the one to die.

And the moral of the story kids, don't try to outsell a company mascot because that company will do everything in their power to make people stop caring you ever existed in the first place even over 50 years after it was an issue.

The irony is that the same rumour site (Bleeding Cool) hinted or speculated rather that it might be the company mascot who kills the competition whilst possessed by Pandora's Box -_- I will be pi**ed with Johns should he pull that rabbit out the hat.

Why? She seems pretty cool to me.
It won't likely be anyone with a solo ... that only leaves Cyborg, Element Woman, Firestorm for the JL, Steve, MMH, Baz, Rhonda, Stargirl for the JLA. Baz has a future revealed in GL so not likely him. Captain Marvel is not even on the team yet not sure how the works, I know he is part of TTW just not sure how...

According to Bleeding Cool, it's a guy. That leaves Cyborg, MMH, Steve and Baz. It's not Baz or MMH because the issues, solicits and interviews have indicated they're both alive after Trinity War (Baz has the GL prophecy, and MMH is going to be headlining JLA under Kindt). Steve is headlining the Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S spinoff.
Cyborg? Hopefully. But it could also be Doctor Light.

Great, thanks for the info! I forgot about Dr light, much appreciated!

I hope it's Doctor Light that bites the early dust. Cyborg is Johns' pet mascot for the League so he won't die even if nothing gets done with him.
@jamdamage It's just a rumour, nothing else. Can't be certain who dies until someone reads the issue and leaks the outcome.

Terrific. Ter-freeking-rific if this turns out to be true. I'm gonna have a field day voicing my anger if this is the case.
@lvenger: yes it true
@darknightspideyfanboy: I take it you've read it already? Tell me this, does Superman kill Dr Light under mind control or his own volition?

From what I understand, it's because of Pandora's Box, so it's not of his own violation if that makes you feel better
@lvenger: superman wasn't mind control but the outsider somehow had something to do with it
@darknightspideyfanboy: But @dondave said it had something to do with Pandora's Box.
@lvenger: the pandora box confirmed that superman isn't pure hearted and the outsider said he made everyone think superman kill dr.light which was btw pretty brutal if you ask me

That part of your sentence indicates everything isn't what it seems then.
@lvenger: It (kinda) worked out for you! How do you feel? Also Johns seems to be borrowing a lot from JLU with this and Throne of Atlantis
@lvenger: Well damn.
@lvenger: FATALITY lol
@outlawrenegade: I have to disagree. My favourite character got possessed and vaporised someone. Even though it's not his fault, the fact Johns has used him has a scapegoat for the Trinity War irks me off quite a lot indeed. So that's how I feel, quite frustrated indeed.

Don't forget that this is the third time this year that he's killed somebody (injustice and man of steel).
@black_claw: Thanks for reminding me. The fact Superman has killed 3 times this year in alternate versions is enough to make my blood boil.
thank to comixology i got the answer to who die it Dr.light
LAME!

Why can't there be two Atoms? Works with the Flashes and Green Lanterns.
I heard she's not the one who dies anyway.
@lvenger: Unfortunnately is true,but he was mind controlled by the Outsider.
The dead of the week is Doctor Light

In "Man of steel" he had no choice.

I really don't want to go into this debate again. Short answer is yes he did have a choice I'm afraid. Superman doesn't kill, it's an integral part of his character.

I wouldn't mind that, but the comment was also meant to parody a previous comment.
However Dr.Light deserves to be quickly killed off after Identity Crisis.
@martianmanhunterisbetterthancy: lol that didn't happen in this universe from what we know this dr.light is still innocent and because of this he will come back as a villain
@lvenger: Ah, I just read the issue and I misinterpreted your post. I thought someone shapeshifted to look like Superman to do the killing. Possession killing is... lame. Good first chapter to a story though.
@lilben42: At least there's that. But my frustration this time around is that out of all the other heroes that could have killed someone, Superman should be the least likely candidate.
@outlawrenegade It might not even be possession. The Outsider had something to do with it.
I find it ironic that DC is calling this "year of the Superman", yet they're doing their hardest to go against everything the character has stood for, for decades.
@lvenger: he really had no choice. If e didn't kill him he would've continued to kill humans. It's not like there was a jail or something to put him in, and there was no way for superman to overpower him. Also, 3 humans were in danger from his heat vision at that very moment.
@jayc1324: Whilst I've had this debate over and over again, I'll enlighten you of the few basic counter arguments. He could have flown Zod away to an unpopulated area and gone all out to stop him. Lois could have remembered something about the Phantom Zone projector that Jor-El told her about. He could have covered Zod's eyes to block the heat vision, flown him away from the humans or punch/kick/throw him away, something he'd been doing to Zod for most of the fight. The counter examples go on.
